[Shogoth] "All copies of the game were destroyed in a house fire"

#1 Post by ahope1 »

Trying to identify a game...

I believe there's a game that has an entry at CASA with a Notes section that says something like "All known copies were destroyed when the author's house burnt down" or something like that. But I can't remember the title of the game!

Does anyone know which game I'm talking about?

❓

Yes, well found, cat!

It was just that the rather unlikely and very unfortunate events (mainly the fire) have stuck in my mind ever since I first read the Synopsis -- which I only did by chance because the game had come up as the Random Game on the homepage, I think. I obviously wasn't expecting to read such a brief but sorry tale! It's good -- in a weird sort of way -- to be able to read it again. Thank you, both.

Oh, and remember to keep regular off-site backups of your data, kids -- or the Curse of Shogoth might get you!
