Man, those pesky spammers! I'm sick and tired of them. After deleting 50 of their registrations during the last three days, I've decided to change the registration procedure. I've tried various methods that should make it harder for spambots to register, but at the moment my efforts aren't very effective.
So, at least for the time being, I will personally yea and nay new users. There aren't that many "real" ones, anyway.
I know this is inconvenient to the legitimate new users, but I'm fed up with bogus medical ads and hard core porn pics being posted in the forum.
Registration of new users - please read!

Ok, after adding a new anti-spam measure, we're back to the old days where people can freely join in without my prior approval. As it turned out, I ended up with 300-400 fake registrations and two (count'em - two!) genuine new users. I spent too much time sifting the good from the bad, hence this latest move.
A couple of changes:
New users can't add links or websites/icq/msn etc. to their profiles. This requires a number of posts for these items to become available.
Let's see how this works out
