Jacob, you may need to explain to us/me (old fogies) why the system is outdated. Once one logs on, one can see where new messages are posted. You can read what you want to read, print if anything needs to be printed, respond, etc.
So, the issue must be how much time/effort it takes for you to maintain this. I kinda thought it was all automatic (other than you giving some direction). If you manually need to do everything, then I can understand why it is tedious.
Of course I understand that in this day and age, systems become outdated in months, let alone years. I am for anything that will make life easier for you and I trust that any changes will accomplish that. But please do not make it more complicated for us to access. I too am well aware that once you have mastered all there is to do, it's "old-hat", and life goes on. I am just one of those old people who says "does it have to go that fast?"
OK - I have finished my rant. Do what you need to do and I will adjust, given that I am motivated to do so (I love you).
Why, why, why, can't life go at the pace I want it to go????
updating CASA

Terri,
I undertand your concerns, but I merely propose to update the actual CASA site, with solutions, maps, hints etc. I don't intend to change the forum as such - I will update to the newest version of the forum software once it becomes stable, but that won't make any major differences to the users, apart from adding a few options and hopefully keep those annoying spammers at bay. It shouldn't make life more stressful or anything. I know most adventure gamers like a slower pace, and I think CASA will stick with that.
But adding new solutions etc. is tiresome, error-prone work. And like I've said before, I would love to be able to do more than adding solutions and map. Between us, the users, we have an awful lot of knowledge, which I think could be utilized a whole lot more.
For instance, I would really like it if the system were able to suggest new games to me as a player, based on the games I've already played.
