Grabbed by the Ghoulies

#1 Post by Doreen B »

Thought I had better put these queries in the right forum

How to get rid of the angy ghost passed the dog.
How to open the box.
How to pass the ornate table.
How to get down the hole in the floor in the cellar.
The trapdoor.

Any hints
Thanks :?

Hi, Doreen,

I solved this some time ago, but have just revisited the game - it's probably Scott's most devious adventure.

>How to get rid of the angry ghost past the dog.

You need a spray can found by breaking the mirrored cabinet in the bathroom.

>How to open the box.

Impossible until you've dealt with the wolf and washed your hands

>How to pass the ornate table.

Throwing a woodworm would come in handy.

>How to get down the hole in the floor in the cellar.

Combine use of the snooker cue and the rope. Once you're down in the well have a good search.

>The trapdoor.

Saw a leg off the table and use what you find in the laboratory.

I hope that's not too cryptic

Best wishes,

Geoff

Hi Geoff,

Thanks for the hints - this game is really frustrating trying to find the correct verb...

However... I may be just very thick or have an item missing or something -but I can't break/force/smash open the cabinet.
I think you are going to have to just tell me the correct command...

It may be the age...

Be less bash-ful, Doreen!

It's a liquid solution. Have you checked the laboratory thoroughly?

All the best,

Geoff

Whoops - I was referring to the trapdoor.

To break the cabinet you need the hammer.

hole in floor

Hi

Just as I though I don't have the hammer - and I can't get down the hole. I have tied the rope to the cue...
What is the command... Thanks

Dear Doreen,

Whatever happened to good old 'insert'? After all, there's a very obvious hole!

Well, that's what you should do with the cue and then tie the rope to it.

grabbed - demon and monster

#8 Post by Doreen B »

What I was trying to do at the holes was laying it across the floor hole - I wasn't even thinking the wall hole was important!

O.K.

I've now dealt with the trapdoor - but climbing back up reveals the scientist and his Frankenstein type monster - how do you deal with him?

Also after swinging across the pit there is the demon and his fireball which promptly fries me...what now?

Re. the monster - what have you seen that's shaped like a frisbee?

Re. the demon - try playing baseball (you'll need something like a bat).

Dear Doreen,

I really think I've given you enough nudges already, but here's a final one. Remember the jailer?

That's it - you're on your own from now on.
