Castle Adventure (by B.M. and M.C Eaton - Amstrad)

There are a lot of "Castle Adventures" but I don't see a solution to this one yet...

I'm stuck in the area near the torture chamber and the room with the sunken square hole in the middle of a stone carving... Managed to get the LARGE KEY by using the information from the scroll but I can't seem to get any further...

How did you get to see what shape the hole is? What command did you use? I have tried "examine" and it keeps telling me "don't bother!".

In the room where you find the beam and the box there seems to be an object in a recess far up the wall. Did you manage to get it?

What do you do with the stone fist holding the flaming torch?

I can't get any further.

OK - now managed to get to the room with the box and beam.

It's very picky with the verb/noun - seems to want full sentences.

OK Juan,

The recess and the object - 'place beam' 'climb beam'

Perhaps we are not talking about the same room? Mine says "in a room with a stone carving on the wall. In the middle of the carving you can see a sunken square hole"

Oh dear, I seem to be stalled in the room with the chandelier where I found the statue and the foot of the stairwell under the landing... Nudge please.

Yes, it's the same room. Strange, mine says: "in a small room. It has a stone carving on one of the walls and in its centre you can see a sunken hole." No mention of its shape anywhere.

Interesting...different emulator or source file maybe? These old games always did feel to me like each one was "hand-made" and slightly different from any other...

I finished also. I have a map - do you want to write-up the solution?
