It appears that the 1995 version is the Artic game transferred to disk, I cannot tell if it is an official version or not.

The same would also be the case for "Talisman" http://solutionarchive.com/game/id%2C3506/Talisman.html and http://solutionarchive.com/game/id%2C3507/Talisman.html except that 3507 appears to be written in Greek.

They are almost the same game, the Guild version lets you automatically win all of the fights - I assume that the fight sequences were originally some sort of arcade game.

"Time Switch" 3537 and 1364 need to be merged, and one deleted.

Scrub Talisman, I think they are different games and the Ray Software version is probably written in Russian.

Two definite duplications:

"Winter Wonderland" 1084 and 4097 need to be merged and one deleted.

"Yagwad" 1087 and "Yes, Another Game with a Dragon!" 4142 are the same game. I am not sure which title is the preferred one.

A strong possibility:

"Winter Term" having read the description of the Alfo game (http://www.worldofspectrum.org/showmag. ... 900097.jpg) and played some of the Ad. Lomer game there is a strong possibility that 3641 and 3640 are the same game.

Two entries that should remain as separate entries unless someone knows better.

There are two games called "Zodiac" for the Oric and Atmos at http://solutionarchive.com/game/id%2C1945/Zodiac.html and http://solutionarchive.com/game/id%2C1560/Zodiac.html but there is no way for me to check if they are the same game or not.

And with that I wrap up my search for duplicate entries, of course this does not mean that there are no more duplicates to be found...

In the meantime I will go through the previous posts and remove the links to all of the entries that have been fixed.

I'd say possibly, maybe. I had investigated this before and have a dump of the GAC code behind the Ad Lomer game, but the advert has nothing about the plot. The Ad Lomer game is quite puerile and looks like a game written by a 13 year old! For now I'll leave it alone until some more information comes about.

The advert does mention school days and it seems that the Ad Lomer game's protagonist is a schoolboy. The advert also mentions amazing cartoon graphics, and the Ad Lomer game does sport amazingly poor  graphics including the one below. Could the name Alfo come from the initials of Ad Lomer and someone with the initials FO who is probably glad that his full name is not recorded?

That picture probably clinches it (I didn't think to actually play the game - that would've been too sensible)!

Before I edit, we think that the publisher is Alfo Software and the author is Ad Lomer (is it A. D. Lomer or Ad. Lomer)?

I think the publisher is Alfo Software and the author (or one of the authors) is Mr. Lomer. As for his name, I don't know. As far as I can tell the name "Ad. Lomer" comes from WoS and where they obtained the name is not stated. Does any name appear in the GAC code?

Well, nobody can say that we are not handling our games with the utmost care. Great work, gentlemen :)
(For the record, my family and I are all down with the flu, so my attendance in here is spotty at best for a couple more days).

http://solutionarchive.com/game/id,622/ ... ipper.html
http://solutionarchive.com/game/id,2957 ... ipper.html

The latter is listed as a Spanish language version, but the screenshots are clearly English and so is the solution. Either the language is set incorrectly (and then, the entry is redundant) or, in my opinion, the solution and the screenshots need removing. I'm not doing it myself, because I don't know whether the Spanish version actually exists.
