Runestone of Zaobab

#1 Post by Amby »

Lets see, I chose the sword, and have found: key, rope, coin, knife and disc. I'm currently standing at the base of a mountain and have been unsucessful in throwing my rope around the peek so that I can climb up. Haven't figured out anything to do with the paving stones/stream at the hollow either.

Help needed.

I am so glad others are helping in this. I won't tell you how long this has been in me "to-do" stack. Thanks for participating and helping. I will try "knot rope"; of course I have tried every other verb.

How does one attach the rope to the hook in the crater?

TIE ROPE TO HOOK (I had forgotten to retrieve the rope initially).

Now my question is...which first: fireworld or iceworld? I've been to both (first ice, then, in a restored game, fire) and end up stuck in each: can't get past the ice wall (it seems to want me to use something sharp but no combo of verbs and sharp nouns have worked thus far), and I haven't figured out what to do with the fireball in fireworld.

I am no further ahead than you. The gloves you find at the ledge do not seem to help, nor the food or the scroll at either of the two locations.

I think we need a nudge from Doreen.

Geez, this game has more typos and bugs than any game I've ever tried to write :) So, anyway...I've done all that Doreen suggested (thanks - I would never have made it this far without your help). Now I'm back at the fireball, runestone in hand, and haven't a clue what to do.

Help please.

Yes, Doreen has been helpful. Many typos and problems here, I agree.

I don't think you need to go back to the fireball once you have the runestone. Just leave, and follow Doreen's directives. I don't think you even need to "tie rope" here; just climb it.

Hmmm, I'm at a loss as to what to do now. Methinks I don't know (or don't remember) what the object of the game is  Where is it that I'm trying to go? Or what is it that I'm supposed to do with the runestone?

once you climb down the rope, make your way back to the beginning. Go w, w, s, s, w, and you will bew done. Albeit with a score of 95 (versus 100???)

Thanks. Oddly, I finished with 135 points :?. So was fireworld totally unnecessary?

Who's submitting the solution? I'll send the map.

Looks like fireworld was a red herring.

I think Doreen should write the solution, since she had it in the first place. My papers are already in the recycle bin.
