I'd appreciate that - thanks!
As for hacking the code re: the holder, that would be spoiling the fun (for me at least)

I've just send it to your e-mail

Well I do agree it's more fun if you can solve it without cheating or help, but when I get really stuck I try to retrieve the verbs and objects and the game map. This can guide you into the right direction. Apart from that its like playing another kind of adventure decoding the program code. Some are very easy to understand but others are more complicated and very cleverly done. For instance to obtain the list of objects for this game it took me 5 hours to get it because it wasn't programmed as it is normally done.

Well I guess you have to search better

. It's there allright. Look closely to the picture in this room and the one in the evil room and maybe you get the idea (I did anyway

) I've just solved the game!! . I will upload a walkthrough later today.

Yes, it is another guess-the-word puzzle and I had to check Alex's solution to discover the phrase. It's pretty obvious when you think about it, at least it is after you are told the opening words.
So I've finished the game with a score of 93, but what is the maximum?

There, I just finished it as well. Pretty much in the least number of moves. Final score: 19
I presume the max is 100, but I won't pretend that I have any clue as to how it is calculated.
Still, it's very nice finally being able to check this one off after so many years!

I know that you lose points by pressing the button, but only about 25 so I don't know what you did Jacob!

Wow, I set a record for least number of points in a completed game. Now everybody's intrigued

Yeah, I noticed the problem with the smilies. To be honest, I don't have a clue, but I'll look into it.

There appears to have been some file permission issues with some of the smilies - which I struggled with for quite some time yesterday, because the server kept caching the old, faulty images.
Well, it's Friday and everything appears to be working again.

With the result that my previous message now looks rather excessive, not like this message which is a paragon of smilie restraint...
