Speccy game.
I am stuck in the dragon's cave, not knowing how to get on the bed or under the bed, or otherwise deal with the "lumpy" bit. Maybe I shoulod have done something before?
Help would be appreciated.

I think this is where you will need to be stronger...
Have you tried drinking some water at the bottom of the well?

Is it possible to get the charm in the village? Is so, how do I get it?

I have in my notes -
What would you like to buy? - MRAHC (charm)

Terri,
Dorothy Millard has a full solution of this up on her site, although it fails to mention what you need to do with the pair of 'ape knees'.
All the best,
Geoff

Gee, and I thought I had checked out her site, before I began to play. Shows you how observant I am.

OK so you need to get four eggs before you climb the giant's bed, otherwise, you can't get 5 to buy the "charm".
At the beginning, when I played, I found enough coins to buy all three objects, including the leaky bucket. When I met the sage, he did not throw me out, and when I gave him the onions, he gives you hints: "find the crossorads, then turn east. Try not to be the giant's feast. Time is fast expiring friend, so hurry on your quest. Tis cold where you are going, so wear a wooly coat. Strawberry jam and lemon curd, do not forget, the magic word. Without it you would be quite lost. The word you want is simply frost." Then you make your way out.
Otherwise how are you to know the "frost" password.
I could not "buy papers".
However, still no idea what the kneecaps are for.
Tricky game this is. Interesting mapping, or rather lack thereof, since you can't drop anything in order to map.

Hi, Terri,
Dorothy does occasionally miss out relevant points in her posted solutions, so maybe she's just making sure that 'adventurers' explore all the possibilities.
You have to throw each of the 'ape knees' into the fountain in order to get the penny. Once you have that you can buy the paper and read some interesting information. As to where the fountain is - well, just explore a little after you've descended to the depths - it's not hard to find.
All the best,
Geoff
