This was a first for me as I saw this as the random game and played it on a different platform to the Spectrum! It's easy to find and load up the TRS-80 MC-10 emulator (A computer I had never heard of) and it plays in a cute little screen with everything green.

It's a nice simple treasure hunt with no pictures. You need to escape the hole and then wander about the small, just over 30 locations, map and solve puzzles as you find them. The puzzles aren't overly taxing and it didn't take long to solve, but it was perfect for an evening's adventuring fun.

You can get one fairly random seeming death for standing around too long in the wrong place, but if you are a sensible adventurer you'll be fine.

Worth a punt if you fancy a short diversion and purely to have a go on a different platform.

Parser/Vocabulary (Rating: 5/10)

Pretty basic two word entry with 'take' not understood and full descriptions often needed (like drawbridge for instance). It does the job but did cause me trouble once or twice.

Atmosphere (Rating: 6/10)

Not overly atmospheric, not really much happening but descriptions are good enough.

Cruelty (Rating: Merciful)

There are a couple of quick deaths if you're not careful but no real dead end traps.

Puzzles (Rating: 7/10)

Simple, clean and satisfying. It's not going to take long but there are no long, pointless treks or obscure entries required.

Overall (Rating: 6/10)

Neat little adventure for people who want a an evening's diversion or to sample a more esoteric platform.
