Not greatly enlightened by the inlay, it turns out that you need to enter the castle, disguise yourself and find out what has been terrorising the local countryside, dispose of it and then escape!
I got off to a slow start on this one and completed it over a long period, sometimes nipping in and out.
There are some nice descriptions, the castle is laid out sensibly and it is enjoyable to explore. At 40 odd locations this is around my optimum size.
The NPCs are a little two dimensional, but add to the plot which builds up slowly but ends with a lot of action to a satisfying conclusion (so long as you have the right stuff!).

Parser/Vocabulary (Rating: 6/10)

Simple two word input does the trick.

Atmosphere (Rating: 6/10)

Reasonable atmosphere. Nice long descriptions and interesting little diversions around the castle.

Cruelty (Rating: Polite)

Apart from the initial time limit required to dupe the professor, this is pretty polite. One or two sudden deaths, but they make sense and there are no annoying dead ends requiring total rework.

Puzzles (Rating: 7/10)

The puzzles are interesting and fairly logical which makes this quite enjoyable.

Overall (Rating: 7/10)

Another well rounded adventure from the double play range. These budget adventures were clearly worth the price in their day and continue to be a pleasure to play.
