This adventure is set at an existing, though soon to be demolished, Burlish Middle School. You are a student there and need to recover seven items which were confiscated from you.
Written by a teacher at the aforementioned school, it is clearly fairly accurate reflection of the school, down to individual teachers, including the author who will supply you with clues if asked.
You must find a light and then rove around the school and, in most cases, find then use your wits to solve it. There are lots of red herrings and a number of staff members and relations to interact with and it's a humorous and engaging game.
There are a few in jokes relating to pupils that only alumni will recognise, but the the tone of them remains amusing. It's particularly evocative to find the obligatory BBC model B ready to load.

Parser/Vocabulary (Rating: 6/10)

A reasonable little parser, with a bit of flexibility within the 2 word entry.

Atmosphere (Rating: 7/10)

Quite nice, the school is well described and really does bring to mind your school days.

Cruelty (Rating: Polite)

Apart from being discovered by the caretaker if you are too noisy and this is mostly gentle. No real dead ends apart from if you use one item wrongly.

Puzzles (Rating: 7/10)

A lovely little range of puzzles that are nice and simple. This is designed for and would suit younger adventurers (and nostalgics like me!)

Overall (Rating: 7/10)

A very neat and enjoyable little adventure. I will certainly be taking a look at Mr Bogue's other games.
