A hot dry wind hits you in the face as you hop from the cab of your truck. For miles, beyond the few ramshackle buildings that make up the town of Desecration, Nevada, all you see is the parched hellscape of the Santo Diablo Desert... except to the south where the infamous stretch of widow-making highway known as The Devil's Taint snakes through the foothills of the treacherous Spiketop Mountains. This is the last stop before you have to make that dangerous run. Some might say that driving a 35 ton truck carrying another 5 tons of USDA Grade-A certified artichokes down a winding, one lane mountain road is sheer madness... but a trucker lives for excitement!
Well... excitement and maybe a smidge of companionship. There's something you need to do here in Desecration, before you run the Devil's Taint. Someone that you need you see.
