Synopsis

Plot

Find five treasures hidden within a fairground, which may be haunted.

Notes

The release title of the game appears to be Mysterious Fairground as this is featured in reviews and on the actual inlay of the game. The "mysterious" part seems to be a later addition as some early advertising and magazine references use just Fairground.

The game internally refers to itself as Fair Ground and states it was written by M. Knight in 1983.

There are currently two versions of the Spectrum game archived, with minor differences between them. The one with the 'Mysterious Fairground' loading screen seems to be earlier. The 'Fair-Ground' loading screen version adds 'X' as a synonym for EXAMINE and also removes some redundant GET/DROP code.
