Initially seems to have been published in The Captain 80 Book of Basic Adventures in 1981 for TRS-80.

Published as a type-in game in the book Castles & Kingdoms for the C64 by Virgin Books in 1984. The Commodore port was by Andrew Swanson.

A direct continuation of the game Revenge of Balrog.
