Synopsis
Rudolphine Rur (Rudolph to his friends) is in an enviable situation. He owns his own tree house in the most elegant part of the Valley. He has managed to progress in his profession to become respected as Master Shoemaker. His family is in good health and in general he gets along well with all of them. It looks like it's going to be a happy autumn in the Valley... What will drive Rudolphine to leave his comfortable home and plunge through intricate forests and snowy mountains until he risks his life in the unpleasant human world?

Originally programmed in 2005 using the Superglus parser for the Glulx virtual machine.
Ported to ngPAWS in 2015.
Converted to run on DAAD in 2019/2020. Some puzzles differ in this version. The DAAD version is available for Spectrum, Spectrum NEXT, Amstrad CPC, Amstrad PCW, Amiga, Atari ST, C64, MS-DOS PC, MSX, and MSX2.
