This was used as a demonstration to accompany the Professional Adventure Writer tutorial 'The S.U guide to playing and writing adventure games' published by EMAP Business & Computer Publications in
Sinclair User, issue 128, October 1992, pp. 32–33; issue 129, November 1992, pp. 36–37; issue 130, December 1992, pp. 34–35; issue 131, January 1993, pp. 34–35; issue 132, February 1993, pp. 28–29. The original article includes a solution and map.
A ready-made version of the game is available here.
The game was later adapted into Italian AWS demo adventure by Aristide Torrelli, under the title Pattuglia all'alba.
The AWS game was ported, both in Italian and English, to C64, C128, VIC-20, and MS-DOS by Davide Bucci. See the AWS2C Github page for details.
Good small adventure... A good start for a bigger game?
