Synopsis

Plot

Finding shelter from a mountain snowstorm is easy enough. Escaping the forces of black magic as you stumble around an old 18th century monastery is another matter.

Notes

Originally written by Ron Krebs of Mark Data as a text only game. Once Mark Data started distributing the graphical adventures of Stephen O'Dea and Bob Withers, O'Dea and Withers rewrote the game to create the graphical version.

A fair effort, very compact and reminiscent of Scott Adams games, but with a better parser and less deviousness. The game is straightforward to solve, but will take more time than expected due to the amount of inventory juggling needed. Some versions included animated graphics; not the first time the gimmick was used, but at least they're tasteful.
