Yeah. There's some jackass spamming viagra all over the Classics board, and no one's doing anything about it

Another problem that's still unclear is how are you supposed to guess the combination for the lock? The only thing that looks like a clue so far is one of the notes that implies that one of the characters is 25 years old (one of the numbers for the combination lock is 25.)
Don't forget how you ...

And that the clues to which painting to pry open is probably in the scraps of paper you find?

The notes seem to be the same for each game, so if the diary's location changes for each game it's a bit difficult to see what the connection is.

But are they exactly the same? They seem pretty ...

OK, now I have finished the game with 100%. There was a note in the tunnel maze, which was worth the missing 4%. Walkthrough completed and sent to Jacob.

Did you also point out that the diary probably appears behind a different painting w/each game you play? And that the clues to which painting ...

Thanks, Alistair, that makes sense. I don't know how you figured that out though.

Hey, Juan, I just finished it and got 100%. Did you knock on the door outside the castle? Are you sure you found all scraps of paper? What about the one in the tunnels? If you also read the cookbook, I'm not sure how ...

HAVING ONLY ONE HAND MADE IT HARD TO COUNT
WHEN I WAS PACING OFF THE MAP BUT THE
SYSTEM I FIGURED OUT WORKED WELL. IT
SEEMS MORE NATURAL THAN THE NUMBERS I
LEARNED IN SCHOOL

Seems that it's using base 5 rather than base 10 (decimal) for counting, is that of any help?
No. How is it using any type ...

From the stable, go:

12 E
9 N
8 W
3 S
4 E
4 S
1 W
Correction, make it:

From the stable, Go East, then

11 E
9 N
8 W
3 S
4 E
4 S
1 W
That's not it either. When I took my 3rd step to the south before taking 1 step to the west I fell into a pit

Ok, so where do I find the chest?
OK, got it. Now I have finished the game with 96%. What could the remaining 4% be? There is a message within the game program that says one of the paintings is already slightly ajar, revealing an empty compartment. I do not remember getting this message when ...

Ok, so where do I find the chest?

You can enter those numbered doors (I didn't know you could knock though!) Try "ENTER ONE, TWO, THREE..." etc. I only found something in #5, but I don't remember what. It was probably just a scrap of useless paper.

Last time I died I was at 84% :thumb:

Ok, I wrote another program so that I could crack the code manually. I seem to have it. The conversion of letters goes like this:

A->B B->I C->G E->E F->K
G->L H->D I->F J->M K->N
L->O M->A P->R Q->S R->T
S->H T->C U->U V->V W->W

Now how the hell you use mathematics to get that, I don't think I'll ...

Well, since you put it that way, I guess you could say that there are 2 ways to get into the castle, one is through the tunnels, and another is the drawbridge.

Yes, but what number are you supposed to enter for the drawbridge to come down? (if that's the way to do it.) The number (256) in the ...

At this point it's only a scrap of paper. You don't even need to do the tunnels. By taking the key and whatever else it is you find in the lit part of the tunnels, you can get into the rest of the castle.

How? I suppose it has to do with the buttons in the mailbox which apparently lower the ...
