Re: The Galleon c64

I only dare to resurrect this old thread after those long years of slumbering to inform you that I have just launched an Indiegogo campaign for a slightly redesigned new publication of my old game (both versions, the English and the Hungarian, together in a C64 boxed release):

Re: MicroMUD for the C64

It made me so curious, that I will definitely give it a try if I can (maybe later in this month if I have the possibility). Unfortunately, the setup is not so easy: one needs multiple C64 computers (with multiple monitors and cables) to be connected together. (Which already gives an indirect answer ...

Re: MicroMUD for the C64

Has anyone ever tried to play its multi-player mode?

Re: MicroMUD for the C64

I have found this article where they state it actually has a real multi-player mode. Which could be done by using the daisy-chaining feature of the serial IEC ports: in practice, it means that multiple C64 machines must be connected to their shared common 1541 drive at the same time. (The game ...

Re: New English version A Pokal Angyala (Angel of the Hell)

This is just a pun (maybe untranslatable). The word "öv" means "belt", so thus "az övét" means "his belt". However, "övé" also means "his one", and therefore "az övét" also refers to that as "his lizard"... Eventually in slang it means his cock. :) You might just write anything else funny or ...

Re: New English version A Pokal Angyala (Angel of the Hell)

Hi Alex,

respect for your usage of the dictionary.

It's great that you deal with it so much. And I hope you will succeed in finishing your work.

I was working on the second part of this game together with the original team, a few years later. But when this first part was being made, we had not ...

Re: I just have a quick question?

There's a UK website dedicated to unfinished and/or unreleased games. They are focused on the C64, and not only adventure, but every kind of games - although you may also find a few interesting titles over there. I only found them nearly half a year ago, when they "recovered" an unfinished game I ...

Re: The Galleon c64

Hi Robert, sorry for the late response, but I've been hiking through Chile for six weeks and I only recently returned. I did use the 'go to' command and as you mention it does work like it does in the Level 9 games (The Level 9 adventures where among the first adventure games I ever played and some ...

Re: The Galleon c64

Greetings (and hi) to all! I am the above-mentioned author.

I only started that website of mine nearly half a year ago, and I have been working on it for the last few months mainly. So thus it is not entirely finished yet at the moment, but there are already a lot of interesting things uploaded ...
