Re: Hezarin
I am deep into Acheton; another game I abandoned years ago but decided to determinedly essay a completion of this time. I am slowly getting there with seventy odd saved game states. When they are this big choreographing the manifold regions of the game in the correct sequence is at least as ...
Re: Hezarin
I put my completed map of Hezarin up on CASA recently. I am proud to say that I only used the first level of hints four times. There are I think 233 of the blighters. I made it 402 locations in size which would make it 1 room smaller than Acheton. It only took me 25 years on and off. Now that is ...
Re: Hezarin
The MS-DOS version of Hezarin (the mainframe version was lost) seems surprisingly buggy. I have emailed a number of these to Adam Atkinson who was surprised too. Several errors caused the game to terminate back to the command prompt.

Re: AdventP (Or Adventure 500) From 1979 Now Listed On CASA
It does appear the the game was going to be increased in size by the author as in one particular area you move through a door and are greeted with the legend: "Colossal Cavern is under construction in this area. Please return
to this location at a later date for interesting Adventures."

AdventP (Or Adventure 500) From 1979 Now Listed On CASA
Hello All.
The admininstrators have accepted the above game by George Richmond to the CASA database. If you liked the original Advent from 1976 but thought all spin-offs were too similar this is now available. Trust me it is very much its own game. It is very large and many of the puzzles are ...

Re: Cornucopia
Surely the very fact that you couldn't play the game normally without disecting it like an anatomical specimen (which surely runs counter to the point of the game in the first place) merely proves my point?

Re: Cornucopia
I disagree. An open bag should be fillable. I have played hundreds of games and rarely seen such shoddiness. Similarly the room with the basin full of water and an open bottle. Fill bottle? No. Take water? Nah. Fill bottle with water? This game contains more head banging than a year's subscription ...

Re: Cornucopia
I have just worked out how to get past the troll, although I must confess it was more by luck than judgment. I suppose it makes sense.

Re: Cornucopia
Oh, now that seems like a definite bug - the same one that was in "Witch Hunt"!
There is no bug using the plastic bag.
If I can put my head in it but not a small note it's a bug.
Either that or ridiculously anti-mimetic. Ang given all the other bugs in the game, I am reminded of the ...

Re: Cornucopia
Another howler - if you are by the stone fountain and try to use the purify water spell you are told "I can't see any water here." My, I never knew pirahna could breathe on land.

Re: Cornucopia
I did wonder if there was a spell that you cast to get it to carry things but I guess not. You can wear it and suffocate yourself however!

Did you manage to put anything in the plastic bag? I have just found it but, even when open, it says every object will not fit.

Re: Cornucopia
This game was certainly never spell checked or proof read at all; I have come across numerous spelling mistakes and other more flagrant grammatical errors. In one location description some green heart shapes appear amongst the text and I have just stumbled across a "Foulded (sic) Landing." Fouled of ...
