Re: annabel gray - BBC game

So that's where the invitation card is! I didn't go through the window.

Did you sell the cotton to Whitney Jones? The money he gives you is your train fare into town. You can catch a train after about 3 o'clock (from memory).

Have you got anything to wear to the party?

Re: annabel gray - BBC game

No, that's how you get to the horse which I assume will enable you to free the cart from the rut (though I haven't tried too hard yet).

Re: Textfiles.com Apple II Walkthroughs

Yes, I knew you'd have been on the case!

I could batch download and convert them no problem. I could also zip them all up and upload somewhere but I'll never find the time go through them...

Re: OCR from dot matrix?

Thanks for that Dave. I'll get typing Cordelia!

Is there a mirror of the old site?

I ask as there are solutions missing that are mentioned in the news archive.
Specifically 'Oxbridge' from 11-02-2004 (which I am playing at the moment).
The solution for 'Wheel of Fortune' (same date) is also missing.

I've tried using http://web.archive.org/ but it's too slow to be of use.

Thank ...

Re: Screenshot cropping

It’s very likely that these are to me misusing the screen resolution in the emulator. I will revisit the Amiga screenshots asap.
