I think that it's more of a case of what to add rather than what to delete.

Re: The classic Sierra On-Line Adventures

This site concentrates on adventures where you need to type in commands rather than the point-and-click method of interaction used in the games you mentioned. There are some entries on the site for games that are not strictly type in adventures, I'm sure Jacob has a logical explanation as to why ...

Re: investigations

Did it take forever to load as well? Am I just not patient enough? No, it took about the same time as any other game to speed load on the emulator I use.

Crumb - first the Atari breakdown (which by the way, is still not working, as I do not know what is wrong), and now this. Juan gives a pretty ...

Re: investigations

I have a quick question, this game requires a Spectrum 128, you are attempting to load it on an emulated 128 aren't you? You can tell if you are loading it on a 48 (or a 128 running in 48 mode) by the appearance of an "out of memory" message beneath the loading picture.

I get a score of 75 too. I wonder if there is something to do at the fungus wall, as it seems a little strange for it to exist.

Re: leotrope

Have you tried SAY "MATTER" ? (The quotes are obtained by either Control or Alt + P depending on the emulator.)

Re: R. Dunn - the same author or two different people?

Then again, a quick search found a game for the BBC called Horror Castle (which can be found in the database ), where the rems state: BY R.DUNN CONVERTED TO THE BBC BY J.SNOWDEN AND R.DUNN
And the game is for the BBC and the Dragon.
That's interesing as there is an adventure for the Dragon called ...

I'm bumping this because the game is still in the database.

R. Dunn - the same author or two different people?

Both The Shrinking Professor's Quest and Danger Island were written by someone called R. Dunn. Does anyone know if the same person wrote both games or not? Also, if it turns out that they are not the same person should a new "R. Dunn" be entered into the database (assuming this is possible and there ...

Re: Any French Speakers on here?

The following adventures are listed which don't seem to be in the database:
Dragon 32
Aventure Plus
Caverne aux Lutins
Donjon de la Mort
Maison des Horreurs
Quest
Tour du Diable

It would have been helpful if that advert had mentioned the names of the publishers. As it is I assume that Quest is ...

Re: Tunnelmaze, Underground Adventure et.al.

I think I might have misunderstood the advert and that Peter Gerrard wrote all of the "Exploring Adventures" books, and Kevin Bergin wrote some of the other listed titles. This probably means that the three adventures in each book are the same. I have amended the entries accordingly using the list ...

Re: Tunnelmaze, Underground Adventure et.al.

There's an advert for the "Exploring Adventures" in "Micro Adventurer" Issue 3 (January 1984) on page 44 (bottom left corner) which lists the current and upcoming books in the series, as can be seen here at ftp://ftp.worldofspectrum.org/pub/sinclair/magazines/MicroAdventurer/Issue03/Pages ...
