Re: Steven C. Darnold
Hmm... a tweet has led me to this issue of TPUG, which frames Steven's games in a completely different light... and actually suggests that he wrote Valeymaze initially and then he, himself, was "ripped-off" by an "Englishman" who published the listing in a book...!!

Re: Help on C64 version of Davy Jones Locker
Yeah, in many cases there are three different versions of some of the River games... a PAWed one (for Spectrum & Amstrad CP/M), a Quilled one (for C64) and a STACed one for Atari ST.
Some of the very early (1986) games also had Quilled versions (equivalent to the C64 ones) for the Spectrum, before ...

The unexploded shell should be in the "waste bin" location (accessible via "the trench").

Re: Mike Snyder's TRS-80 CoCo Adventures
Finally done! :)
Thanks to Garry, we've gone from a handful of Mike's modern games to twenty six titles...

Re: Mike Snyder's TRS-80 CoCo Adventures
Luckily... Garry has already got all that covered...
Now, I'm sure there are Commodore and PC releases that probably need going through.

Lol... what have I done by mentioning these T&D games?! :) I'm gradually working my way through everything you've submitted... thanks Garry! That's a lot of work for both of us... but definitely mostly for you! I can't believe we were missing *that* many games.

Re: Mike Snyder's TRS-80 CoCo Adventures
Excellent, thanks. I'll gradually work my way through those and add them to the site.
From the advertising, and catalogues, it looks like they expanded the service to disks as well, later on.
We've currently got Zector Adventure down as "T&D Software"

It's working for me here... Vice 3.2... out of the box set-up, as far as I know as I don't know enough about C64 to change anything.

Re: C64 Mountain Valley
Very interesting! That's enough, thanks to the cassette label, for me to tag the game with "Mountain Valley Software", rather than just Brian's name (as it currently is).
Finding any references to the early TRS-80 Mountain Valley games has been quite tricky. There's the odd early mentions in ...

Re: C64 Mountain Valley
Yes, it's on my list to do later. Need entries for "Crypt" and "Cranbury Manor" too.
I always wondered why Brian didn't remake his earlier TRS-80 games. Cranbury Manor may be an indication that he did... but as I can't get inside the actual manor there's no way to compare Flagstone/Cranbury. I ...

Re: C64 Mountain Valley
It's hard to tell, in its unfinished form (can you even do anything in the game?) but, given the first location, The Curse of Cranbury manor might have been a reworking of elements of earlier TRS-80 game, The Secret of Flagstone Manor.
