Just a note to say that the Amstrad version of the book that was being discussed earlier in this thread (to see if it could be used to correct the MSX book's code) is now available through the Internet Archive...

Yeah, all his 1981 adverts have software, including Mad Monk, that's billed as being "from the guy who wrote 'Le Passe-Temps'"... and he's the guy who wrote Le Passe-Temps.

Regarding Mad Monk, the instructions indicate that it was published by Merlin (Micro Systems Ltd). I'm not sure what that means. Were you able to confirm the author as A Knight, or was that just conjecture?

Lol... Don't mention Dog Star Adventure... I keep putting off the project to sort through all the various different versions of that game. :)

(At least that particular Sharp version includes some credits that explain where the game originated. :) Although its storied history goes back much further ...

Yes, two of those are referenced in these threads (we had a big discussion previously about De Tijdmachine and it even got an English translation as a result) but I didn't know that Schatzoeker originated as a BASICODE game, so I'll make sure that one gets tagged in the database as such - thanks ...

Sadly not, apparently, but perhaps the Quilled games distributed on Micronet 800 will turn up at some point.
