(I'll process those Spectravideo games later, thanks)
Yeah, 1984 seems like the earliest date for the first seven C64 Mountain Valley text adventures... Quite a lot to drop at once, so I wouldn't be surprised if at least half of them date from the previous year or so.
Can't spot much activity from ...

Re: C64 Mountain Valley
Our index of these games is a little disappointing, considering that Brian J. Betts probably wrote one of the first Australian text adventures for the TRS-80... Not much information collated out there, aside from the pages linked to above, but I think we can do better... So adding it to my list of ...

Let's Compute - Adventure Writing Tutorial
I noticed on the page for the tiny type-in adventure The Golden Crown that it made reference to a Commodore 64 version but didn't know the source, or if it was official.

Re: Space Derelict! (type-in)
I wonder if the Apple version was less buggy?
Possibly as the author was primarily an Apple II user, from what he's said online.
The Inform Designer's manual labels the book as a "turgid work". I've not read enough of the Inform Designer's Manual to know if that's a case of pot and kettles ...

Re: Microbee Adventures
I think I requested access to the none EULA archive... which seems to be the wrong choice as I don't see any adventure game disks. So I guess I'll have to submit another request.
I'd quite like to have a look at the disks, given that virtually all my games are on them. I'd be happy to sanction ...

Thanks for the screenshots, Garry.
Just when I think I've got my head around all the various TRS-80 computers, yet another one comes along that I didn't know about. :) I hadn't realised that the listing was specifically for the TRS-80 Model 4 and there would be issues with it on some of the other ...

Re: Another Classic Ported to TRS-80 MC-10
I don't currently see this particular "House Adventure" listed in the database. Perhaps it's under a different name. I would've thought the interaction with the leopard would make it stand out.
I guess that I'll add a new entry, unless anyone else can spot it.

Ported a game called "House Adventure" from the Club 100 Library. (House.ba).

I wonder if that's the same one from the Fourth Rainbow Book of Adventures . Unfortunately, I don't think there's a copy of that book archived online to check.
Edit: Probably not, giving it a quick play ...

Ah, I see what you mean re. the Microbee Technology site & forum... https://microbeetechnology.com.au/forum
I see that ChickenMan is an admin there and responsible for the text adventure stuff. He's a user here and has contributed to CASA too, in the past.

Re: Microbee Adventures
Yeah, as well as ports from other BASICs, a lot of the content is going to be CP/M games that weren't designed for the Microbee.
I too had found the whole Microbee scene incredibly closed off and difficult to get access to, which is why I ended up using the site that I linked to and that online ...

Microbee Adventures
I had an interesting time poking around on the outskirts of the Microbee software library today... noticing quite a few undocumented (and unofficial) ports of old TRS-80 games that I've added to the respective pages.
