Re: Nuke
Oh, I know why they are labelled as The Guild. I was around at the time and I knew Tony at The Guild, as we were working on a game together at one point. I've spent a lot of time documenting the history of The Guild and associated labels, like the Adventure Workshop!
However, a large chunk of The ...

Re: English translations of Slovakian adventures
I notice that on Podraz III that Jacob did write:
However, several of the other Podraz games were also in the database. However, the next games (Podraz 4, 5 and 6) are not "pure" text adventures and hence fall outside the scope of CASA.

Re: English translations of Slovakian adventures
Yeah, I think there are probably a lot more Spectrum titles that aren't even documented on the usual sites, but I'm not going out of my way to research and add them. It needs someone more familiar with that scene. I've only added these ones because there were existing matching Slovak entries. I don ...

Re: The Guild/The Guild Adventure Software
In reality, I don't think The Guild started distributing Commodore 64 titles much before the start of 1993... This is a mention from the April 1993 issue of Adventure Probe, where it's also included in the news section...

Re: English translations of Slovakian adventures
I've added most of these now, except Kewin II which didn't have an original entry in our database.
Several of them aren't traditional text adventures... two of them are hacking/phone games and at least one of them is a menu-driven experience. As they already had Slovakian entries, I added an ...

Re: The Guild/The Guild Adventure Software
I've now amalgamated The Guild/The Guild Adventure Software publisher.
More work is needed on identifying the original publication source of many of these games (a lot of them were released either via the authors and/or as public domain/shareware) before they became part of the Guild's library ...

Good spot. In that case, I'm pretty sure that it's by Pete Gerrard then; although I'll add the reasons to the entry when I merge them.

Re: 12 Lost Souls
A lot of these games, such as Len's, were distributed for free on the Public Domain circuit.
The Amstrad CPC online archives, in particular, are very (very) far from being complete... so sometimes it's the case that we don't actually have the final versions of these games.

English translations of Slovakian adventures
Flagging these up as they will be of interest to some here, but also to remind us to add English-language entries.
English translations of Slovakian adventures from the late 1980s and early 1990s.
