Re: New fighting fantasy book

I guess you can play alone (?).

Apart from "Clash of the princes" they are all single player games. If you want to see an overview of the titles as well as being able to read all the back covers you can look on this site:

Re: Kingdom of the seven stones c64

Today my prayers worked and I lifted the curse. I was forgotten to remove something. I've finished the game and will upload a walkthrough.

Re: Kingdom of the seven stones c64

Yeah I've found all the seven stones and defeated the shadow. In the end the puzzles get better. If the game was a bit more responsive to commands it would be a lot better.

*** beware spoiler ****

There is one puzzle I did not manage to solve yet. At some point you become cursed by the shadow and ...

This location is not reached from the water. After you looked through the spyglass an exit has become available in another location which first was not there.

Re: Kingdom of the seven stones c64

Nearing the end (however still a few problems have to be solved) I've uploaded a map with all the objects. Note a lot of objects are red herrings and if you choose the wrong objects you have to start over again (or load a saved game).

Re: Kingdom of the seven stones c64

Getting further. The way to use the rowboat is a bit strange as you don't have to enter it to use it. I encountered some nice puzzles as well. For instance how to deal with Medusa and get past the gargoyles to the tower. I'm having trouble to "raise a hue and cry" in the town to find the sheep ...

Re: Kingdom of the seven stones c64

I'm getting a bit further, but you have to do a lot of talking with the NPC. I earned a shilling and permission to use the rowboat. Good ending for today. I'll try again tomorrow. Still pity the game is not a bit more responsive to wrong commands.

Kingdom of the seven stones c64

A new adventure game with impressive graphics. I thought I give it a try, but so far I am quite disappointed. A good text adventure is more than just great graphics. More important is a good parser and the ability to respond to many commands. The game is very slow in normal mode, so I play it in ...

Re: Western Adventure (Hungarian c64 game)

***Problem 3 (location 2A on my map):
For some reason in the train FOG KÖTÉL (get rope) does not work. I don't know if this is a bug or if you have to use another command.

I also solved the third problem. This seems to be a bug. Take rope does not work, take (without an object) does work. In ...

***Problem 1 (location 11 on my map):
you are in the city of the Apaches. You get a bow and an arrow. you have to prove your knowledge by aiming. they set up straw puppets far from you, you have to hit one.

I finally managed to hit the straw puppet. You had to string the bow first. "FELHUS IJ ...

Re: Western Adventure (Hungarian c64 game)

Just a small update in case some Hungarian speaking user will read this topic in the future.

I’ve been playing this game again and I managed to solve several of the above problems. The main problem for me is I don’t speak Hungarian and at least to me it is a very difficult language with all its ...

Re: Authoring System Not Currently Showing

That does explain some things. I received some questions from persons and I sent an answer but they never read my answer. I also sent some private messages by myself and they were never read. I myself don’t use Gmail. Maybe we can do a test, Garry. I send you a private message and you respond if you ...
