I don't know if anyone has heard of Mickey Crocker's Text-World: a system for creating text adventure games for DOS.
The fact that it is called Text-World does not make it easy to search the databases!

No, not come across that one... There were so many DOS adventure system that were created but don't really seem to have been used! Gamescape was another similar one; I think we have a single entry for that in the database.
And, yeah, that name does not make searching for references to "Text -World" easy. I think it could've been the most popular system in the world and I'd still struggle to dig out any references!

Re: Text-World
There are remnants of Mickey's ChicoSoft website in the Internet Archive, but it seems like it might take a while to locate any well archived/stable snapshots...
I found a reference to Mickey Crocker on this page... https://www.msadams.com/downloads.htm which led to the defunct link http://chicosoft.xroad.com/ (Presumably Mickey was involved in setting up the Scott Adams tribute site at some point?)
Bits of those pages exist...

It's a case of jumping up and down the timestream to see if anything useful has been captured. There are references to Text-World in the dates I've scrubbed through so far.

Re: Text-World
Text World 2 was obviously in production at some point...

Re: Text-World
Text-World 2 embodies what could be and probably never will be, but it doesn't matter, the main thing is that the author believed in it... at least for a while or maybe forever. The version 1.2 exists and it's a happy thing; I don't know if there is a copy of the 1.2b version of Text-World somewhere.
The one ultimate and perpetual argument that never fails to irritate me is the "without programming a single line of code". Why would typing code be a problem?
And that's all for today.
