Idea: browse for "unsolved"

I noticed there are games getting added which have no solution yet. Wouldn't it be a neat feature to be able to browse for such games? Sort of like your old "Wanted" list, just automatized, with tags or whatever you guys call it

Interesting - idea noted

The aim is to make CASA a database of all (classic) adventures, solution or no solution. So there'll be lots of unsolved games down the road.

I agree with this idea!

(I don't know if you remember, Gunness, but I had made basically the same suggestion in a PM I sent you some time ago.)

Hi Eriorg, yes I remember

All ideas are noted, and input is always welcome!

I like this idea also. A "Help Wanted" kind of thing.
I had no idea you wanted to post all games on your site, rather than just games with solutions. This may explain why I was confused between the title "games" rather than "solutions".
Very ambitious project, if you ask me.
When you say you have 1500 games posted, I assumed you meant solutions, but I guess you mean games.
I'm still trying to navigate this site. I'm getting there. Please be patient folks.

The coding team will figure out something. Let's see what we wind up with.
@Terri: yes, the ambition is to cover all games. As for "Help wanted", everybody is encouraged to use the "I am playing this" button. This will help you find other people struggling with the same game.
And yes, by "Games" I do mean games, not solutions. I suspect the # of games will go up a lot faster than the solutions.

"Unsolved" checkbox is now on the advanced search form. Of course, if you check it and select "Solution" in the box above at the same time, you'll get zero results

Furthermore, when you check this box, it also shows you games that actually HAVE been solved, but where just hints are provided. I'd say that as soon as hints or maps are available, it can be considered solved.

I programmed it the way you worded your initial request:

The rest is just policy. Jacob, decide.

I think the current tool is very useful and - hopefully - just what the doctor ordered

I wouldn't say this. Hints are gathered from all sorts of places, and in many cases it's just a few hints that only cover a fraction of the game. Hence, a map and hints do not a solution make.
