Notes:
-There is a bug in the game which prevents you to read some objects. To solve the game properly line
142 has to be changed into :
142 IFN$="ORD"AND(LO(21)=LCOR(LO21)=99)ANDLI(LC)=1THENPRINT"IN ORBIT AROUND THE
PLANET. THIS WILL END THE WAR BETWEEN OUR":PRINT"PLANET.":GOTO 54
Without doing this you still are able to solve the game. However you won't be able to READ
WATCH (to see the time left before the planet is blown up) or to READ LETTER (to learn the letter is
the treaty).
-You have to solve the game within 360 turns before the orbiting ship blows up the planet.
-If you want to make the snowbeast friendly you can do this by giving him the moss with the command
FEED SNOWBEAST. This is not needed to solve the game however.
Walkthrough:
INVENTORY (you are bleeding and you are only wearing an uniform. you have 20 turns to stop the
bleeding and to get some warmer clothing before you die), READ PANEL (the warning light says
'massive damage'), OPEN KIT, OPEN MEDIKIT, GET BANDAGE, WEAR BANDAGE (the bleeding stops),
GET IGNITER, N, GET PARKA, WEAR PARKA (against cold), GET BLASTER, OPEN PORTFOLIO, OPEN LETTER, READ
LETTER (the letter is the treaty), GET LETTER, W, S, E, E, U, GET SNOWSHOES, WEAR SNOWSHOES, D, W,
W, N, N, GET STRAW (you find a file), DROP STRAW, GET FILE, E, S, E, N, GET ROD, S, FILE ROD (the
rod becomes triangular), OPEN GATE (with rod), E, E (you can't pass this room or the room with
the red ice without wearing the snowshoes), E, E, FILE ROD (the rod becomes round), OPEN GATE, DROP
FILE, DROP ROD, E, E, GET GLOBE, RUB GLOBE (you now have a light), E, E, S, E, BLAST GATE (with
blaster), DROP BLASTER, E, READ ORDERS (take the treaty and the ambassador with you in the space
ship to the orbitor in orbit around the planet), U, DROP LETTER, DROP IGNITER, D, W, W, N, W, W, W,
W, W, W, W, W, W, N, N, U, GET AUTOPILOT, D, S, S, E, E, S, GET CUTTERS, DROP BANDAGE, BANDAGE ALIEN
(the alien, who is the ambassador, will follow you), N, E, E, E, E, E, E, S, S, CUT WIRES (with
cutters. if you don't do this your spaceship will be shot by a laser when you fly away), N, N,
E, S, E, E, U, DROP AUTOPILOT, READ PANEL (you notice a button marked 'launch to orbit'),
PRESS BUTTON.
I have docked with the orbiting ship. Congratulations. You have saved two planets and billions of
