Walkthrough for "Lost in Space" The Second Part of the
Dan Diamond Trilogy by 'Salamander Software' (VERB : NOUN
in this adventure)
Simple plot to land the space ship that you arrived at
from Pt. One.
You start in the Transport Chamber, the first problem is
to find something to keep the guards off your back.
WEST : WEST : WEST : WEST : you find yourself in a
circular room (It is
in fact a lift, there are five levels in the space ship)
to activate the lift, just say whatever floor you wish to
go to E.G. Say One. So to continue SAY FOUR EAST : into
the dark. SAY LIGHTS : the lights come on. NORTH : NORTH
: into a locker room, there is a Credit Card here, GET
CARD : SOUTH : WEST WEST : WEST : to the Games Room, there
is an Arcade Machine here, play the machine by inserting
card (The Credit CARD) till something drops out, it is a
Black Ring (this is the item that keeps the Guards away,
so GET RING : you can now explore without interference.
If the Guards catch you, you end up in a Misty Place,
just move randomly, till a message from Sparrowhawk
appears scratched on the floor, so go in the direction
indicated, you will eventually exit the mist at an
Archway, on level four, so if you haven't got the Black
Ring, make your way back to the arcade machine, and try
again.
From the Arcade Machine, EAST : EAST : SOUTH : SOUTH :
Into the East End of the Library. : WEST : WEST into a
reading room, A White Disc here. GET WHITE : EAST : EAST
: NORTH : EAST : WEST : back to the Circular Room (The
Lift) : SAY TWO : EAST : `SOUTH : SOUTH. to a Service
Counter, there is a Food Dispenser here. : INSERT WHITE
(The White Disc) LOOK
to see a Pie. GET PIE : EAT PIE : LOOK : inside is a Blue
Disc. GET BLUE : DROP WHITE : NORTH : NORTH : WEST : Back
in lift. SAY THREE : EAST : NORTH : EAST : into Life
Support, PULL LEVER : this turns the gravity off. WEST :
SOUTH : WEST : to the Circular Room : SAY FIVE : EAST :
NORTH to a Metal Door with a Blue Panel. : WAVE BLUE : to
open door, you can now go north, so NORTH : DOWN : into a
maze of Complex Tubes, there is a button here, PRESS
BUTTON : this activates the engines, ready for start up :
SOUTH now if the gravity is off, you can now go UP. Into a
Inspection Hole, where there is a Red Disc : GET RED :
DOWN : NORTH : UP : SOUTH : SOUTH : WEST
into the Lift. SAY TWO : EAST : EAST : into the Crews
Quarters, there is a Red Panel here, WAVE RED : (Red Disc)
to open panel : LOOK to see a Security Box. OPEN BOX :
LOOK : to see a Black Disc : GET BLACK : WEST : WEST :
into lift, SAY THREE : EAST : SOUTH : To the front of a
Security Door, with a Black Panel. WAVE BLACK : (Black
Disc) to open door. SOUTH DOWN : to Ships Helm. The
Manual Override is here. PRESS BUTTON : you are now asked
to input password.
So type FRANKLIN to finish game…………
