Before using this walkthrough, you are strongly advised to consult
Dilly's own built-in hints. Much of the information below comes
from them, anyway. A good tip to start with is to examine everything,
even if it doesn't seem worth examining.
Examine the couch, take the afghan, and pull the lever. Look under
the pillows, then look under the couch itself. Search the hole, and
examine the paper.
Examine the panels, then the silver and bronze panels individually.
Pull the silver handle. That mouse probably went into the hole...
search it again. Examine the dartboard. Throw a dart at any number
you like - for example, throw dart at 20. You'll fail. Repeat this.
Keep throwing darts at numbers (the same or others) until you hit
them reliably, then throw a few more until the counter resets to
zero. Now throw one dart at 11, one at 10, and then keep throwing at
the 20 until you reach 301. That mouse again! Search the hole to
retrieve the key.
Examine the closet, then the box, then the block. Push 2, push 4,
push 6, push 8. Search the hole again. Examine the soldier. Also take
the rod from the closet.
Examine the vent. Remove the grating. Examine the vent, take the
lumpy object, and examine the doll. Examine the opening. Break the
lights with the rod. Examine the opening again.
Examine the photographs. Examine each one, but in particular, examine
the red frame. Listen to it, then look behind it. Take the nail. Now
examine that outlet. Unscrew the outlet with the spear. Take the
device and examine it.
Now for the bronze panel. Unlock it with the key, then pull it.
Examine the machine, then the cubbyhole. Pull the panel. Turn on the
flashlight, and put it in the gap. Get the ribbon from the doll and
tie the switch to the mesh.
Examine the walls, examine the patch, and tear it. Examine the
notched panel. Remind you of something? Put the device on the notched
panel. Now, what to type? You've seen several numbers. You only need
two. Examine the scrap again, then examine the frame of the colour
mentioned. Re-examine the opening. Type these numbers, in that order,
as a single number; e.g., if the frame says 123 and the glass says
4567, "type 1234567".
Pull the closet door. Examine the table and open it. Put the door in
the hole. Wedge the door between the ceiling and the table. Go up.
