Solution to R.D. Foord's The St. Petersburg Ikon
a.k.a. The Crypts of Zagorsk Monastery
A Basic game with machine code graphics for the ZX Spectrum.
Accordingly, the graphics are decent but the text and puzzles
are poor. Parsing is... barely existent. Use the commands below
literally; "east" instead of "e", for example, does not work.
e, s twice, w twice, take candles, e, n, take tools.
w twice, n, w, take elixir, s, light candles, s.
take food, eat food, w, knock hole, drop tools, s, e twice.
move stone, take coins, w twice, n twice, swim, n four times.
e four times, swallow elixir, s, e, insert coins, w, s twice.
There are two more puzzles in the game, both optional (there
is no score) and a whole slew of unusable objects. I'll leave
you to discover these.
