GLOBE

Your goal is to find three globes.

I was not able to finish this game. It has some minor and major flaws (at
least the versions I am playing). You cannot EXAMINE <object>. When you
drop things in the ship, you are actually dropping them in that
particular location, so you need to go back and retrieve them. It's best
to find a central location where to drop objects and only drop them
there.

However, the biggest flaw seems to be that you not only need to READ
MESSAGE chip (READ CHIP) doesn't work), but you physically need to have
the code. In order to get the code, you need to have a small cylinder and
insert it in the round hole on Colony 1. Problem is I cannot find the
cylinder anywhere.

It is possible that the version one bought works, but this downloaded
version does not (maybe copyright protection? Some lines of code removed
and unnecessary ones added?).

Partial solution (incomplete):

INVENTORY (nothing), LAUNCH, N, SCAN (safe), LAND, E, E, E, TAKE STONES,
S (you see a strange creature – you do not have to throw the stone, but
you can if you wish), W, TAKE SUIT, N, W, W, LAUNCH, N, E, E, S, WEAR
SUIT, BOARD FREIGHER, TAKE SWORD, OUT, REMOVE SUIT, N, W, W, W, N (scans
pick up Dyron), E, SCAN DYRON (unsafe), LAND, WEAR SUIT, E, E, E, JUMP
(you cross the pit), TAKE ASTRA, W, W, N, W, LAUNCH, REMOVE SUIT, N, W,
N, E, SCAN KNOLL (safe), LAND, DROP SUIT, DROP ASTRA, DROP STONES, DROP
SWORD, E, ROW BOAT, ROW BOAT, OUT BOAT, N, TAKE FUEL, S (you see a sunken
boat), S, SWIM, N, W, TAKE ASTRA, TAKE SUIT, TAKE SWORD, LAUNCH, FUEL (50
%), N, W, N, E, LAND, E (ignore the globe), E, TAKE LASER, W, W, LAUNCH.

INSERT LASER, LASER (ready to fire), S, S, W, W, W, LAND, N, E, TAKE
REFILL (your air supply in the suit is automatically refilled as is your
fuel), W, S, LAUNCH, FUEL (full), E, E, N, N, E, N, E, E, DROP FUEL, DROP
REFILL, DROP SUIT, DROP ASTRA, W, N, W, N, N, N, W, W, W, W, SCAN (safe),
LAND, S, W, TAKE DISABLER, N, E, N, W, TAKE THERMAL (ignore the
supplies), E, S, LAUNCH, E, N, E, S, E, E, E, SCAN (safe), LAND, N, N,
READ SIGN, WEAR THERMAL (don't wear before you get the message that you
are cold, because it won't be effective then), W, S, TAKE GLOBE, N, E, E,
DOWN, S, S, E, TAKE KEY, W, UP, N, DIG, TAKE CONTAINER, W, S, LAUNCH, S,
S, S, S, E, DROP DISABLER, REMOVE THERMAL, DROP THERMAL, FUEL (50 %),
TAKE ASTRA, OPEN CONTAINER (you get a bag of credits), DROP ASTRA, TAKE
FUEL, DROP SWORD, E (you can't).

UP SHIELDS, FIRE LASER (until the cruiser is destroyed), TAKE SUIT, DROP
KEY, E, E, SCAN (unsafe), LAND, WEAR SUIT, W (ignore the messages that
you are getting cold), N, TAKE MESSAGE, N, E, S, S, LAUNCH (fuel supply
is low), IN FUEL, W, W, REMOVE SUIT, TAKE SWORD, READ CHIP (TG 254), DROP
SUIT, TAKE BAG, DROP GLOBE, TAKE KEY, TAKE DISABLER, W, W, S, W, S, S, S
(you can go WEST three times and land on Colony 3 but there is nothing
there and you will just waste fuel), S, S, W, W (the disabler allows you
to go through the forcefield), SCAN (safe), LAND, N, W, GIVE CREDIT (you
get the message "you unlock the gate with your computer chip and walk in"
– what gate? This is the same message you will get later as well), E, S,
S, W, S, S, OPEN GATE (ignore the bomb), S, S, INSERT CHIP (door opens),
IN. This is where I am stuck and cannot get to the computer terminal to
use the computer key. One of the globes should be here.

You also need to land on the planet Quillon to pick up the third globe,
but for that you need the second globe, and that is not obtainable
because you cannot get it from the computer terminal because you don't
have the code/cylinder.

Frustrating, so don't waste your time playing a downloaded version of
this game.
