STONE (a firestone) - EXAMINE FIREPIT – LOOK - GET FLINT - EXAMINE FLINT 
(used with the firestone) - S - EXAMINE SARUDAN (Arkenia's mate) - TALK 
SARUDAN - E – EXAMINE GRASS - PICK GRASS - E (woods) - EXAMINE WOOD - 
(you see a large tree) - CLIMB TREE - EXAMINE TRUNK - PEEL BARK - 
EXAMINE BARK (used to hold broken bones in place while they set 
properly) D - EXAMINE TREE – LOOK - GET KINDLING - EXAMINE TREE - GET 
STICK - EXAMINE STICK - E - EXAMINE TRACK (you see a hidden hunting pit) 
- WALK AROUND PIT - E

S – (glade) - EXAMINE CHAMOIS - CALL CHAMOIS (it sees the grass and 
steps closer) - N (the chamois is following you) – W - CALL CHAMOIS - 
WALK AROUND PIT – (the chamois falls into the pit... a Flathead female 
hears the noise and appears from the depths of the woods) - W – W - W - 
N (back in own lodge) - SEARCH LODGE - (you see something and Sarudan 
finds a spear which he picks up) - LOOK (you see a mother figure) – GET 
FIGURE - EXAMINE FIGURE - S - E - E - E (track) - EXAMINE FEMALE - TALK 
FEMALE - GIVE FIGURE (she motions for you to follow her) - FOLLOW FEMALE 
(she leads you to a clearing where there are many Flatheads, you are 
outside the Flathead's cave)

IN (you see a flathead hunter with a broken leg and a shaman) - EXAMINE 
HEARTH - EXAMINE SHAMAN - TALK SHAMAN (he wants something to hold the 
leg in place) - GIVE BARK (he says it isn't supple enough) - LIGHT FIRE 
(need the flint, kindling and firestone. The bark is soaked in hot water 
to make it supple, the Shaman points to a small boat at the back of the 
cave) - EXAMINE BOAT – OUT - E (at river bank, Sarudan launches the boat 
into the river) - EXAMINE RIVER - (the water is poisonous) - EXAMINE 
REEDS - GET REEDS - EXAMINE REEDS - PLAIT REED - (you make a bowl) - 
FILL BOWL (with poisoned water) - BOARD BOAT (you push off) – WAIT - 
(you drift downstream) - WAIT - (the boat washes up against the rocky 
shore) - EXAMINE ROCKS - GET NODULE (flint) - EXAMINE NODULE (could be 
made into a blade) - MOVE ROCK (a mink rushes out) - LOOK - (Sarudan 
sees the mink and kills it with his spear) - EXAMINE MINK - (lovely 
pelt) - S

S - (blind canyon, you are surrounded by a tribe of women warriors, you 
are taken to their village, Sarudan is marched away) - EXAMINE WOMAN 
(she is knapping flint) - TALK WOMAN - (she tells how all the men have 
been put into a compound) - GIVE NODULE (she makes a fine blade) - SKIN 
MINK - S - EXAMINE GUARD - IN - (compound) - EXAMINE SARUDAN - (he has 
been beaten) - TALK SARUDAN (he begs you to release him) – OUT - N - E - 
(outside main lodge) - EXAMINE LEADER - E - (the leader asks you not to 
leave) TALK LEADER - (she hands you a cup of soup) - EXAMINE SOUP - 
(looks harmless, but in fact it is poisoned) - TALK LEADER (keep talking 
until she turns her back for a moment) - EMPTY CUP - (into the ground, 
the leader is pleased thinking you have drunk it) - GIVE BOWL - (she is 
poisoned and dies, all the men are free) – IN - (main lodge) - GET 
WRAPPINGS (for the feet) – OUT 

E – E - E - (top of glacier) - WEAR WRAPPINGS – E - E - E - (at cave) - 
IN - (see the Lion tribe) - EXAMINE HEADMAN - TALK HEADMAN - (he will 
not talk as is it impolite, a gift has to be offered to his wife) - GIVE 
PELT - TALK HEADMAN (he agrees to help you find and defeat the Slavers) 
- EXAMINE TRIBE - (fierce fighters) - TALK TRIBE - OUT - E - (you are 
lost in thick woods) – EXAMINE WOODS - CLIMB TREE (you see a pathway 
out, you climb down and then arrive at the steppes) - E - E - EXAMINE 
MAMMOTH (grazing to the south) - S - (outside slaver's compound - a 
volley of arrows hit and you return north) - LIGHT FIRE (the mammoths 
stampede south) – S - IN - (inside the slaver's compound - the Lion 
tribe fight the slavers until they are defeated) - LOOK - (the ground is 
littered with bodies) - EXAMINE BODY - (keep examining bodies until you 
find something) - LOOK - GET KEY - EXAMINE KEY - EXAMINE GROUND - (you 
find a trapdoor) - EXAMINE TRAPDOOR (locked) - UNLOCK TRAPDOOR - (a 
horde of people come out from the pit, you have finally found your 
father and family).
