The Old Sherwood Cemetary By Duchess For Z-code interpreters Solution by Garry Francis ---------------------------------------- This is a minimal solution. There are places to go, things to see and things to do, but they're nearly all red herrings. (For example, WAVE to Jimmy Cooper and TALK to the ghost of Ruth Quincy.) All that matters is that you examine seven of the graves, then you can go to sleep in the cemetary in accordance with the dare. There are six graves with interesting tombstones in the Ashbury Village Cemetary. The seventh and subsequent graves say, "Not an interesting stone...". This is the indicator that you've examined enough graves. There are a further six graves with interesting tombstones in the cemetary by Sherwood House. The seventh and subsequent graves say, "This has only the name of the dead Sherwood...". Again, this is the indicator that you've examined enough graves. You can examine the graves in either location. The responses always appear in the same order, but the wording varies depending on the location. Thus, if you examine the first grave in location 1, you will not get to see the response for the first grave in location 2 and vice versa. You will need to play the game at least twice if you're interested in examining all the graves. Just to make this clear, I've given two solutions. The first is obviously the shorter one. [1st solution] X GRAVE (Dillon Landry) G (Frances Sherwood) G (Griffin Nankin) G (Ines Sherwood) G (Jean Olsen) G (Kevin Peters) G (not an interesting stone) SLEEP ***THE END*** [2nd solution] GET LANTERN N X GRAVE (Elbert Sherwood) G (Myra Sherwood) G (Amber Sherwood) G (Bertrand Sherwood) G (Connie Sherwood) G (Horace Sherwood) G (only the name of the dead Sherwood) S SLEEP ***THE END***
