This game has a romance theme. You are Andy Barker who is staging a concert in
24 hours. Your stage manager calls you with the news that someone has stolen all
the music for the show. You have to find all the arrangements.
Hints:
Typing help gives you a list of verbs.
As with Kenneth's other game, this one is tidy with a few inconsistencies,
usually related to not being able to examine objects or know that something is
there. For example, the fruit machine does not tell you what you need to do
with/to it. Same with the housekeeper's room.
There continue to be too many ways to look at things: EXAMINE, SEARCH, LOOK
AROUND, LOOK IN, LOOK BEHIND, LOOK UNDER, FEEL, FEEL UNDER, etc.
Among the verbs is SECURE. This is for the ladder.
The cast list of music (the titles or the musicians sometimes provide hints for
where the arrangements may be found).
There are 27 arrangements you need to find. You will know when you have them all
as you hear piano music.
Get to the bottom of the freezer.
In the library, MOVE the steps several times.
Which of the plants to give to the kangaroo? Try a crisp, green plant.
Place the statues of the two lovers NEXT to one another.
One object needs to be examined three times (in the study).
SEARCH the floor in the music room of the theatre.
There is something in the housekeeper's bedroom. There is a door there though it
is not described.
Having trouble with the riddle of letters? Think of the theme of this game. The
"v's" in "forever" and "vain" should give an obvious clue.
The horse in the nursery is helpful. Check its mouth.
