Walk Through #1 - PRIVATEER (Start walking along a sunny north/south path near a small stream), N (end of sunny path where large hole leads down and a bridge crosses a stream west), READ SIGN (note the word "breadstick"), GET KNIFE, EXAMINE KNIFE (sharp), W (edge of paved road), GET BOX, EXAMINE BOX (wrapped in decorative coloured paper), USE KNIFE (to open the box... inside is a lamp which lights as you take it), W (it's too slick), E, D (cave - need lamp - note "scscscfy" etched on the wall), SAY BREADSTICK, LOOK (note that breadstick is now etched on the wall), U (behind throne), S (throne room), W (a portcullis bars your way), E (king's private gymnasium), GET SHOES, EXAMINE SHOES (sturdy), W, N, D (back to damp cave), SAY SCSCSCFY, U (sunny path), W (edge of paved road), USE SHOES (you jog effortless across the road), LOOK (you are in a quaint little shop), READ SIGN (note the word "crackthe"), USE BELL (you are told to "go away"), USE SHOES, E, D (damp cave), SAY CRACKTHE, LOOK, U (dusty cellar), U (as you emerge from the cellar its entrance collapses behind you... you are in a sunny clearing... you have passed the first test - note the word "phlegmatic"). #2 - PRIVATEER: RIGHTEOUS FIRE (Start in a sunny clearing), EXAMINE STATUE, E (beach), N (hill), GET TORCH, EXAMINE TORCH (carved in tiny letters is "Take me to the beach and tell me the king's word"), N, (before castle), GET PAPER, READ PAPER (the king has gone off looking for breadsticks), S, S (beach), SAY PHLEGMATIC (the torch bursts into flame), W, W (entrance to dark cave - note the word "uberfisch"), W (mouth of cave), D, D (large room), EXAMINE DOOR (see picture of a cube with a flame at its centre), E (gadget room), EXAMINE MACHINE (it's a rope maker), USE PAPER (you drop it in the yellow machine and a rope drops out), GET ROPE, W, U (the ladder is out of reach), USE ROPE, USE ROPE (it catches on the hook), W (across the rope to a tiny room where on the wall is inscribed "Say the magic word"), SAY UBERFISCH (an iron key appears), GET KEY, E, U (mouth of cave), S (cubical room), EXAMINE PEDESTAL, USE TORCH (in the pedestal - you hear a grinding noise below but it is now dark), N, D, D (large room where the stone door now stands open), W (small room with a locked iron door), USE KEY (you exit to a tight passage... you cross the chasm which collapses behind you... you have passed the second test - note the word "jazzercise," although this word is not used in the next part). #3 - WINGS OF GLORY (Start standing in a vast cavern on the brink of a chasm), N (sunny meadow), GET BOOK, READ BOOK (note hints), W (dirt road), N (village), E (hut), GET POT, EXAMINE POT, EXAMINE PALLET (as you lift the corner you discover a small silver key), GET KEY, W, N (town hall), EXAMINE FLAG, E (lounge), GET SQUARE, EXAMINE SQUARE (an embroidered cloth square), W, N (door is locked), USE KEY, N (cluttered office where you see a frosty glass bottle), GET BOTTLE (frozen to the desk), USE POT (you melt the ice with the heat of the pot), GET BOTTLE (underneath is a gold coin), GET COIN, EXAMINE BOTTLE (mead), S, S, W (quaint little shop), READ SIGN, USE BELL (wants the cash first), USE COIN (you drop it on the counter), SAY HOE (it comes sailing over the counter and lands at your feet), GET HOE, E, USE BOTTLE (you pour the mead into the pot and discard the bottle... the pot starts bubbling furiously), DROP POT, USE HOE (you stir the stew with the hoe and the stew starts to glow... there is a flash, the pot and hoe disappear and in their place is a jewelled match), GET MATCH, EXAMINE MATCH, N (town hall), N (office where the desk is), USE MATCH (you strike it on the underside of the desktop), S, S, S, E, S (by chasm), W (small room where you see old mining equipment), EXAMINE METAL (glows), USE METAL (as you touch it you feel strange and you are now energetic and zippy), E, N, W (dirt road), W, W (you are no longer an ordinary traveller and fly down the road... you arrive at the gates of a huge city... Congratulations, you have completed the third game).
