DELIVERER2: ESCAPE TO ESKELOS

The original game seems to have a "bug" in it, so use the "fixed" one available
at CASA instead.

There are many, many random elements in this game. The maze route through the coloured corridors
being one of the worst. 


Solution:

Stamina plays a large part in this game, there are two ways to restore stamina, one is to rest, the
other is to eat food or pills. You should be able to complete this game without eating, but you may
wish to keep some food on you or on the tidybot in case of emergencies.

You are asleep. WAKE (it's dark), I (to find out what you are carrying), WAIT (until you hear
footsteps; continue to wait until the hatch opens and the room is lit) LOOK (you are on a bunk bed
and see a screwbot peering through the hatch), U (you are in a cell; to the north you see a door
which is closed; you see a yellow button and some exits north, east and down; the screwbot slams the
hatch shut and leaves), PRESS YELLOW BUTTON (you get light), E, TAKE PORRIDGE, N (you see a locker),
OPEN DOOR, N, TAKE VACSUIT, EXAMINE VACSUIT (dial is set at 30), WAIT (the screwbot sees an empty
cell, opens the door, and dashes out), S, W, N (you are in a hall, a staircase up, and an alcove to
the northeast), NE, (you hear the screwbot enter the cell, if not WAIT until it does), SW, CLOSE
DOOR.

Go U, U, U, E (you see a helmet), TAKE HELMET, EXAMINE HELMET (attached microphone and a speaker),
W, EXAMINE TABLE (you see a memo and a pistol), TAKE MEMO OFF TABLE, READ MEMO (from research
department station; you get a route to that place – this is randomly determined each time you
play; make a note of it), EXAMINE OVERALLS (you find a note), TAKE NOTE OUT OF OVERALLS, READ NOTE
(I will be waiting in the white corridor in station - this route is randomly determined as well so
you need to understand how the maze works).

TAKE PISTOL OFF TABLE, EXAMINE PISTOL (dangerous), W (make a note of the sector co-ordinates, you
will need to know them should you wish to return to this location after visiting other locations
east of the coloured corridors), DROP ALL, E, E, REST, WAKE, W, W, S, W, W, W, W, W, W, W, TAKE ALL,
W, DROP ALL BUT HELMET, WEAR HELMET, D, D, D, D to the workdroid area.

(You will likely run out of stamina points before you finish getting all you need from the workdroid
area. Should your stamina drop too far DROP ALL, return to the maintenance shaft, then go 8xE, N, E,
E, REST, WAKE and return back to where you dropped everything.)

NE, SE (you find a button), PUSH BUTTON (you can't). Find the tall workdroid and using the
construct SAY TO TALL WORKDROID "<direction>" move it to the location of the button,
SAY TO TALL WORKDROID "PRESS BUTTON" (he opens the door, if your stamina is low get some
rest before continuing), E (the door slams shut behind you), NE, N, E, EXAMINE CUPBOARD (you see a
hacksaw and a cylinder), TAKE ALL OUT OF CUPBOARD, W, S, SW.

EXAMINE SECURILOCK, S (you see a cable). Find a workdroid (but not the huge or tiny workdroids), and
move it back to the cable by using the same construct as used earlier. (The following uses the
spherical workdroid as an example, adjust as necessary) GIVE HACKSAW TO SPHERICAL WORKDROID, SAY TO
SPHERICAL WORKDROID "CUT CABLE" (he is electrocuted but the door opens), N, W, NW (you see
a rope to the north), N (you can't). Find the tiny workdroid and move it to this location. SAY
TO TINY WORKDROID "N" and WAIT until it returns with the rope, if it does not return with
the rope keep sending it north until it does, SAY TO TINY WORKDROID "DROP ROPE", TAKE
ROPE, SW, U, U, U, U, DROP ALL, now may be a good time for a rest in which case REMOVE HELMET and
DROP HELMET before moving east, after which return to the top of the maintenance shaft TAKE HELMET
and WEAR HELMET.

D, D, D, D, find the huge workdroid and move it to the bottom of the shaft, SAY TO HUGE WORKDROID
"UP", U, SAY TO HUGE WORKDROID "UP", U, SAY TO HUGE WORKDROID "UP", U,
U, REMOVE HELMET, DROP HELMET, now you must rest, after resting return to the top of the
maintenance.

Now follow the memo directions (you may wish to TAKE MEMO, E, DROP MEMO, you can then READ MEMO
anywhere in the coloured corridors). N (you see an object locator; it's not necessary to take
it), S, S, EXAMINE SCREEN, READ NOTICE (object analyzer instructions: place object in hole), N, E,
(you see a heavy osmium weight and box of vitamin pills), EXAMINE WEIGHT (very heavy – so putting
it in the object analyzer is not really necessary), TAKE ALL. W, W, DROP ALL, S, W, W, W, W, W, W,
W, TAKE ALL, W, DROP ALL.

Now it's time to follow the note's directions (again you may wish to TAKE NOTE, E, DROP
NOTE, you can then READ NOTE anywhere in the coloured corridors). From the splendid entrance hall go
N, N, E, E, REST, WAKE, map out the immediate locations (and TAKE MEAL if you want) then find Rydla.
Follow Rydla until she stops, when she stops try to move her in the direction of the private boudoir
(e.g., SAY TO RYDLA "N"), enter the private boudoir yourself. Follow the orbitus S, but go
E, REST (this should be the last time you need to rest), WAKE, W, W, and follow the orbitus again,
upon reaching the coloured corridors DROP ALL if applicable, and continue following the orbitus.
When you reach the black corridor junction TAKE ALL, W, DROP ALL.

TAKE ROPE AND WEIGHT, TIE WEIGHT TO ROPE, TIE ROPE TO BLACK HANDLE, TAKE HELMET, WEAR HELMET, D, SAY
TO HUGE WORKDROID "UP", U, PULL WHITE HANDLE (the vaclock door opens and the orbitus goes
up, SAY TO HUGE WORKDROID "UP", TAKE PISTOL, CYLINDER AND VACSUIT (do not worry if the
huge workdroid has taken any of these or anything else), WEAR VACSUIT (if possible), ATTACH CYLINDER
TO VACSUIT (again, so long as the huge workdroid hasn't taken it), U, PRESS BUTTON, (tell the
huge workdroid to drop anything you need, take them, and wear, or attach it, as appropriate), E, E,
PRESS GREEN BUTTON, find the huge workdroid and send it east out of the vaclock, follow the
workdroid out of the vaclock. Now follow the orbitus over the platforms (threatening meteors can be
dispatched with FIRE PISTOL AT METEOR) until you reach a sheltered area, WAIT until the huge
workdroid enters, N.

From the lift, go N where you program the Space Cruiser to head to Eskelos. You are finished. Score
600.
