You start the game with four objects in your inventory, but you can't use them until you GET them (even though you've already got them) and you can only do that in a limited number of situations. You can't DROP an object, but you can occasionally THROW an object. There are no compass directions. You can sometimes move using GO, ENTER or CLIMB, otherwise you will be moved automatically when you solve a "puzzle". All exits are one way. You cannot return to a previous location unless you are resurrected. You will get killed a lot, even for doing something quite harmless. There is no save game, so it's best to play with an emulator that allows you to save the game state. If you find yourself on the shore of a lake, it means you have been killed and resurrected. In this case, you can get back to near the beginning of the game using GO TOWER. There is a lot of guess-the-verb, and even guess-the-noun scenarios. I was only able to solve it by working through the BASIC listing. You can play as a male or a female. The only difference is that a male is referred to as a warrior, a female is referred to as an Amazon and the pronouns are adjusted accordingly. Are you ready? Here goes... INVENTORY (you are carrying a charm bag, dagger, talisman & sword) DISMOUNT (you are now in the shadow of the tower) GET TALISMAN (yes, the one you've already got) THROW TALISMAN (a door opens to reveal a corridor) GO CORRIDOR (you're now at the entrance to the corridor you just entered) ENTER (now enter it for real, but door slides shut and it's dark) FEEL WALL (of course you knew there was a wall there, you feel a lever) PULL LEVER (light turns on & you move to a pit across the corridor) GO LADDER (you see a mutant rat as big as a horse, hmmm, I wonder...) RIDE RAT (rat carries you out of harm's way) CLIMB LADDER (you're confronted by a locked door, the obvious thing to do is...) LOOK FLOOR (you find a strange tool) GET TOOL UNBOLT HINGE (obvious really, you drop tool, open door & move to next room) OBEY (strange tingle in your body is you wanting to throttle the programmer) GET BAG (this and remaining moves are crucial to be done in right order) THROW BAG GET SWORD PUSH ORB (push orb into bag using sword so that you don't get zapped) GET BAG GO HOME (what else would you do once you've conquered this masterpiece?) ***THE END***
