* Don't suck up to the electorate in the media. Well, not obviously.
* The game was released in 1987 - train travel was more of a luxury, especially during Election
campaigns. Even if you cleverly mask the date of the Election.
* Balance the risks with the rewards - no point in getting additional shiny status symbols when
there's a good chance of getting egg on your face.
* Never underestimate the appeal of the eccentric - but always respect Parliament and what it
represents.
* But outside Parliament, stay well away from mixed nuts.
* International trade agreements are double-edged swords, but visible research into non-critical
subjects reassures the electorate.
* Don't be heavy-handed - letting things slide or even just a stern look can be enough.
* Don't pick a fight with the EEC - beat them by their own rules.
* If you left something at home, then it's not really lost.
* Leaks are a way of life, so long as you're not obvious.
