It is possible to pass the maze without using Egnad (see my map). From the entrance:

-TALK TO WING
-E, E, E, E, E, N, W, W 

*cheating the amount of sols
If you want to have a lot of sols. Change the value of address 3B23 and 3B24 to FF using the monitor
and you have 65535 sols. If you buy for instance 20000 fuel you can fly around without bothering to
find money.
