Operazione Ladro
Walkthrough by Alex Dijkstra for the zx spectrum
Mission:
You have to steal the painting “the bedroom” by Van Gogh from the Jeu de Paume gallary in Paris
in order to proof you are a better thief than Arsene Lupin.
Note:
-Press enter to swap between graphics and a room description
-The game has one little bug. In room 19 you should be able to give the command SPOSTA LEVETTA, but
you get the message the game does not recognize the object. However this is not important as it is
just a trap to set off the burglar alarm.

moves down), ESCO ARMADIO, ESAMINA SCAFFALE (you find a steel wire and a screwdriver on the shelf),
PRENDI FILO, PRENDI CACCIAVITE, VADO ARMADIO, PREMI BOTTONE (the wardrobe moves up), ESCO ARMADIO,
O, SCENDI SCALINATA, NO, PRENDI MATTONE, O, ESAMINA VETRATA (It says "sporting goods"),
LANCIA MATTONE (you break the window with the brick), ENTRA VETRATA, ESAMINA BANCONA (on the counter
you find a spear gun), PRENDI FUCILE, ESAMINA FUCILE (it has a hook), ESCO, E, SE, S, PRENDI TUBO, S
(don't enter the gate or you will be captured by guards), O, ESAMINA TOMBINO (It's very
heavy and has a ring), INFILA TUBO (you insert the pipe through the ring), TIRO TUBO (you open the

wire), SPARO (the hook is firmly attached to the wall), SCALA FILO (you climb into the Notre Dame),

S, S, SALGO SCALINATA, N, NO, ESAMINA SCATOLA (There are four screws and a wire. Don't try to
cut the wire TAGLIA FILO or unscrew the screws SVITA VITI or you will set of the alarm), APRO
PORTICINA, VADO PORTICINA, ESAMINA GENERATORE (it's on), SPENTO GENERATORE (you turn the
generator off and the alarm), ESCO, SE, S, O, SALGO SCALE, ESAMINA QUADRO (Here it is! Van
Gogh's bedroom), PRENDI TELA (this works when the generator is turned off else you enter
prison), SCENDI SCALE, E, E.
