LOOK (you are in the Wizard's Hive), EXAMINE BED, EXAMINE DESK, SEARCH HIVE (you find a packet
of seed and an axe), GET SEED, EXAMINE SEED (small yellow granules stored in a bag), GET AXE,
EXAMINE AXE (blunt), OPEN DOOR, N (country path), E, SEARCH BUSHES, GET STONE, EXAMINE STONE (round
and rough), SHARPEN AXE, DROP STONE, N (small hollow), GET ROPE, W, S, W (tall ghostly trees), W, N,
N (river bank where you see a swan guarding her nest which has an egg in it), TIE ROPE, EXAMINE ROPE
(a lasso), DROP ROPE, DROP SEED IN ROPE (the swan comes to feed), PULL ROPE.
CHOP TREE (it forms a bridge across the river), N (river bank), S, GET ROPE, N, W, W (to mouth of
river), N (to base of cliff where you meet a man wearing ragged clothes), SAY TO MAN HELP (what
for?), SAY TO MAN ESCAPE (it doesn't come cheap), GIVE EGG TO MAN (he gives you a large metal
hook in return), N, E (cave), TIE ROPE TO HOOK, THROW ROPE AT GAP (it catches on a protruding rock),
CLIMB ROPE (onto cliff), E (there is a marsh below and you see a raft), PUSH RAFT (over the cliff
edge), W, CLIMB DOWN (rope), W, S, S, E, E (back to tree), CUT BRANCH, GET BRANCH, N (marshland
where the raft now is), PUSH RAFT (into the water - it floats), BOARD RAFT, SAIL RAFT (across the
marsh to a country lane), N (an open gate invites you in), N (back to the Wizard's Hive).
