ESCAPE FROM SYLON 6

Scenario
You take the role of a crew member on Sylon 6 Moonbase which has been attacked by The Specras, a
pirate-like band of aliens who roam the galaxies attacking peaceful settlements, capturing the
inhabitants to use as their slaves. Fortunately, for you, you were in the observation dome and saw
through the telescope the Spectras' spaceship approaching. You didn't have enough time to
sound the alarm; all you had time to do was hide as they overran the base. They have now left and
you are alone. You must escape, avoiding any traps or guards left behind.

(Start in the observation dome), LOOK THROUGH TELESCOPE (see stars), SW (tube-like walkway - you
will be wounded by a Spectra in the next few moves), SW, NW (rest dome), NW, SW, SW (back to
walkway), NW, NW (medical dome), W (by cupboard - you are feeling very weak), OPEN CUPBOARD (find a
large packet), OPEN PACKET (find a sterile dressing), GET DRESSING, USE DRESSING, N (bed), LIE DOWN
(feel better and your leg is healing), S, E, SE (walkway), SW (storage dome), W (by boxes), OPEN
BOXES (discover a bomb which has been activated), GET BOMB, SE, S, E (waste disposal chute), DROP
BOMB (slides down the chute and is jettisoned into deep space).
W, S (weapons arsenal), GET LASER, SW, SE (walkway), SE (maintenance dome), NE (by shelves), GET
CUTTERS (metal), SW, NW (walkway), NW (storage dome), W (by table), GET SUIT (space), WEAR SUIT, NW

dispensary dome), E (to where the upturned table is), STRAIGHTEN TABLE, LOOK UNDER TABLE (find a
key), GET KEY, N, NW (walkway), NW (rest dome), NW, E (bedroom where you see a locker), UNLOCK
LOCKER (using key), OPEN LOCKER (find an astronaut's helmet), GET HELMET, WEAR HELMET, W, NW
(red and white bedroom), GET CARD (ID), SE, S, S (walkway), S (control dome), SE (control panel),
EXAMINE PANEL (see scanner and computer), USE COMPUTER (status report - 3% damage).
S, S (by teleporter where you see a Spectra), SHOOT SPECTRA (using laser), EXAMINE SPECTRA (find a
small silver disc), GET DISC (see a small consul which has numbered buttons and a screen), SW, S
(walkway), S, W, SW, S, E (by airlock), N (table in maintenance dome), DROP LASER, GET OXYGEN
(tank), WEAR OXYGEN, GET LASER, S, EXAMINE AIRLOCK (there's a small slot in the wall), INSERT
CARD (door slides open), ENTER AIRLOCK (door slides shut behind you), OPERATE DOOR, LEAVE AIRLOCK
(must be wearing spacesuit, helmet and oxygen tank), SE (by hole), WALK AROUND HOLE, SE (outside
airlock), OPERATE DOOR, ENTER AIRLOCK, OPERATE DOOR, LEAVE AIRLOCK (spacecraft hanger), S (tail end
of the shuttle where you see retaining clamps), EXAMINE CLAMPS (a sign above says "Danger -
Fuel"), SHOOT CLAMPS, INSERT FUEL, N, EXAMINE HANGER (sign says "Shuttle coordinates
0993), OPERATE DOOR, ENTER AIRLOCK, OPERATE DOOR, LEAVE AIRLOCK.(outside airlock), NW, WALK AROUND
HOLE, NW (by airlock), OPERATE DOOR, ENTER AIRLOCK, OPERATE DOOR, LEAVE AIRLOCK (back to walkway
where the slot in the wall is).
W, N, NE, E, N, N, NE (teleporter), EXAMINE TELEPORTER (see a small consul which has numbered
buttons and a small screen), PRESS 0993 (you are teleported to inside the shuttle on the flight
deck), EXAMINE DECK (see a lot of instruments and a small hole), EXAMINE INSTRUMENTS (see a sign
which reads "Insert Ignition Disc), INSERT DISC, START ENGINE, GUN OFF.
CONGRATULATIONS
You have managed to escape from Sylon 6.
