Scenario
To enter the house and find the key which allows you to exit the house.
Notes
1. Make sure you are not wearing the ring when you try to put it into the hollow.
2. When you exit the house I assume the game is completed as there is nothing else to do, but there
is no completion message.
Walk Through
(Start at the entrance to a large house), INVENTORY (carrying an apple and wearing a dearstalker
hat), GET KEY, N (the door slams shut and the key is on the other side), W, W (study), N (torture
room), N, N (kitchen), EXAMINE EXTRACTOR, EXAMINE RAT, E, E (bathroom), GET TORCH, W, S, W, S
(stury), E, E (back to central hall), E (corridor), EXAMINE PAINTING (see a picture of William Tell
with a crossbow), E (bedroom), LIE BED (there's a pea under the mattress), GET PEA (tastes
horrible), N (it's dark), ON TORCH, REDEFINE (you are in a small cupboard), GET RING, EXAMINE
RING (contains a large diamond - don't wear it yet), S, S (circular room), GET RAG, N, W.
W (back to central hall where the sheet of dirty glass is), CLEAN GLASS (using the rag), REDEFINE
(now see a sheet of clean glass and a computer beyond), EXAMINE COMPUTER (next to it is a speech
recogniser), CRY HELP (the screen displays a message), READ MESSAGE (the troll's name is
Sherlock), WEAR RING (troll asks where the noise is coming from), D (to cellar), REMOVE HAT, WEAR
APPLE (on your head - remember the picture of William Tell), REMOVE RING, PUT RING (where?), IN
HOLLOW (it glows and a panel slides back), EXAMINE PANEL (inside is a key), GET KEY, U (back to
central hall), S (you are back outside).
