(Start in a small park), INVENTORY (you are carrying a screwdriver), EXAMINE SCREWDRIVER (useless
without a power pack), EXAMINE TIME MACHINE (like an early 20th century police box), E (into inn),
SEARCH LOCALS (you now have some coins), W, W (into store), W (to adventure section where Kalad the
Storekeeper smiles at you), SAY KALAD "SELL GLOVES", SAY KALAD "SELL BOOTS", E,
E (into park), EXAMINE STATUE, WEAR BOOTS, CLIMB STATUE (must be wearing the boots), GET bird's
NEST, D, N, N, E, N (to cliff face), WAIT (an eagle attacks), S (the eagle is still attacking), S
(you reach the safety of the stone hut but the eagle in a violent temper smashes the window), GET
sliver of GLASS.
N, W, W (into a damp cave), EXAMINE CHEST (securely bound with thick leather straps), CUT STRAPS
WITH GLASS, DROP GLASS, OPEN CHEST, LOOK IN CHEST (you see a power pack), GET PACK OUT OF CHEST,
INSERT PACK INTO SCREWDRIVER, E, E (to clearing - if the Mechanoid isn't here just WAIT until
it is or keep moving until you meet it and adjust the following commands as necessary), SAY
MECHANOID "GO WEST", W, SAY MECHANOID "GO SOUTH", S, SAY MECHANOID "GO
SOUTH", S, SAY MECHANOID "GO SOUTH", S, SAY MECHANOID "GO EAST", E, SAY
MECHANOID "GO SOUTH", S (you are outside a yawning black entrance to a cave), S (a vicious
cat springs from the cave), SAY MECHANOID "EAT CAT", s (INTO THE CAVE WHERE A WITCH GRABS
THE BIRD'S NEST FOR HER SOUP AND GIVES YOU A GOLD PIECE IN RETURN.
N, N, N (to inn), SAY SERIM "RENT ROOM" (he takes the gold and says you can go up), U (to
bedroom), LOOK UNDER BED (you find a rope), TIE ROPE TO BED, LOOK OUT OF WINDOW (below is an untidy
yard and a brick wall), LOWER ROPE OUT OF WINDOW, CLIMB DOWN (to a small yard), SEARCH (you find a
leaflet), READ LEAFLET (advertises the Eagle Carrier Service), EXAMINE DOOR (locked), CLIMB UP, D
(to inn), W, N, N, E, N (to cliff face), WAVE LEAFLET (an eagle swoops down and lifts you up... you
are flying through the air), WAIT (the eagle asks for two crowns), GIVE CROWNS (you are deposited on
the cold side of Alinam), DROP LEAFLET (it is a good idea to ramsave the game at this point as there
is a random element as to whether you live or die when you go north - should you die simple ramload
and enter WAIT for a few goes until it it's safe to go north).
N (into graveyard), EXAMINE HEADSTONES, GET SKULL, EXAMINE SKULL, E (into fish and chip shop), GET
SALT, GET PEPPER (leave the fish fryer), W, U (to where children are building a snowman), KICK
SNOWMAN (the children are none too pleased and throw snowballs at you), GET SNOWBALL, E (to narrow
bridge), E (into ice garden), EXAMINE PROTEUS (has the ability to change shape and form), KISS
PROTEUS (it turns into an ice key), GET ICE KEY, S (into ice corridor), EXAMINE DOOR (carved from
ice and covered with acrylic), OPEN DOOR WITH SCREWDRIVER (the door disintegrates), S (into ice room
where there is an ice box), EXAMINE BOX (required a special key to open it), UNLOCK BOX WITH KEY
(the box and the key melt leaving behind a diamond), GET DIAMOND, N, N, W, W, N (to outside dome
shaped building), EXAMINE GUARDIAN (wearing armour), THROW PEPPER AT GUARDIAN), S (he follows), W
(he slips on the children's slide and plunges into the fissure - your boots save you).
E, N, N (the rubber boots enable you to enter the corridor - you are in a temple), EXAMINE ALTAR,
INSERT DIAMOND IN SKULL (you hear a rumbling sound from the west wall), PUT SKULL ON ALTAR (you are
told that only a liquid can destroy Mr. X), PUSH WEST WALL (it swings open and you find yourself in
Mr. X's secret room - you have only three moves to destroy him and complete the game), POUR
SALT ON SNOWBALL (it melts fusing everything - the laboratory is destroyed).
At last all Spectrum Adventurers are safe.
