Walk Through
(Start by a rickety fence), WHO AM I, EXAMINE FENCE, EXAMINE EGG, PUSH EGG, N (forest), N (deep
forest), GET ALL (picnic basket, dish, spoon and pot), EXAMINE BASKET (empty), DROP BASKET, EXAMINE
DISH, EXAMINE SPOON (a big bad wolf appears), EXAMINE WOLF, ASK WOLF ABOUT LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD,
EXAMINE POT, OPEN POT (contains pease porridge), EXAMINE PORRIDGE, SEARCH PORRIDGE (using the spoon
- there is something but you can't see what it is), EMPTY POT (find a hairpin), GET HAIRPIN,
EXAMINE HAIRPIN, DROP POT, DROP SPOON, DROP DISH.

SW (country lane), W (outside cottage), EXAMINE DOOR, KNOCK ON DOOR (no-one answers), EXAMINE WINDOW
(closed), OPEN WINDOW (sticks), PICK LOCK WITH HAIRPIN (door opens), DROP HAIRPIN, S (inside cottage
where there is a spinning wheel and three bags of wool), EXAMINE SOFT WOOL, EXAMINE GLOSSY WOOL,
EXAMINE CURLY WOOL, GET ALL (now have three bags of wool), N, E, NE, S, S (back to where Humpty
Dumpty is), EMPTY LITTLE BAG, EMPTY MEDIUM-SIZED BAG, EMPTY GIANT BAG, HUMPTY, JUMP (he lands safely
on the wool), N, N, SW.

W, W (outside bungalow), EXAMINE FLOWERS, EXAMINE BUNGALOW, EXAMINE DOOR, READ PLACARD, WAIT (if
necessary until the wolf arrives), ASK WOLF FOR JOKE (these are his specialty - he demonstrates),
KNOCK KNOCK ("Who's there?" a voice enquires from the bungalow), DORIS (the door
opens a crack and you are asked "Doris who?" .... before you can answer Mary opens the
door and asks who are you), ................... (your name), EXAMINE MARY, S (Mary won't let
you as her Mom wants her to clean up the mess, but she comes out to play and shuts the door). 

W, SE (hilltop), EXAMINE GRASS, EXAMINE WELL (something moved down there, but there is no bucket,
rope or crank), LISTEN, NW, E, E, E, NE (deep forest), GET POT, SW, W, S (inside cottage), EXAMINE
SPINNING WHEEL, SEARCH WHEEL (you find a sliding panel and a toggle switch on the underside of the
frame), EXAMINE PANEL, OPEN PANEL (reveals a battery), CLOSE PANEL, EXAMINE SWITCH (on), PUSH SWITCH
(the wheel stops), EXAMINE WHEEL (the bobbin holds some black yarn), EXAMINE YARN (strong, almost
like rope), PUSH WHEEL NORTH, PUSH WHEEL WEST, PUSH WHEEL WEST, PUSH WHEEL SOUTHEAST (hilltop), GET
YARN, TIE POT TO YARN, TIE YARN TO BOBBIN, DROP POT DOWN WELL, PUSH SWITCH (the bucket is raised and
you have rescued the kitten).

NW (schoolyard), S (inside school), EXAMINE TEACHER'S DESK (contains drawers which you can open
but they contain nothing), EXAMINE STUDENT DESKS, U (clock tower stairs and if you have rescued the
kitten it will chase a mouse... you hear someone pounding on the door), EXAMINE DOOR, OPEN DOOR
(locked), GET KITTEN (the mouse dashes under the door... the clock strikes and the kitten finds a
key), GET KEY, EXAMINE KEY, UNLOCK DOOR WITH KEY, U (inside clock tower where you see a shadowy
figure), EXAMINE FIGURE (it's your mother), WAIT (she tells you about her new job and asks if
you did some bad things), YES, WAIT (she forgives you and you all live happily after).
