Scenario
You must challenge the evils and mysteries of the Land of Squynchia which lays in turmoil after
being attacked and plundered by hordes of ogres and orcs.  The Lords of the Squynchian
empire once had the means of controlling these beasts, the fabled and legendary Ruby of Ancient
Franklore,  but it has been stolen.  Your challenge is to recover the ruby and return it to its
rightful place.

Walk Through
(Start in a pleasant clearing), GET PAPER, READ PAPER (about AGT), EXAMINE TREE, CLIMB TREE, GET
STAFF, EXAMINE STAFF, D, W (home), GET DOORMAT (reveals a rusty key), GET KEY, W (bedroom of
Squynchian home), GET PIPE AND VASE, EXAMINE PIPE (recently used), EXAMINE VASE (note if you break
this it reveals a sales tag), E, EXAMINE CANDLE (lit), GET CANDLE, LIGHT PIPE, DROP CANDLE, N (by
well), D (bottom of well), EXAMINE ICE, EXAMINE OBJECT (covered in ice), PUT PIPE ON ICE (it melts
to reveal an old carpet), GET CARPET (reveals a trapdoor), EXAMINE CARPET, READ LABEL (to operate
say rise), GET BLOCK (a yellowed note flutters out), READ NOTE, GET PIPE, EXAMINE TRAPDOOR, OPEN
TRAPDOOR, D (small dank room), GET PAIL, EXAMINE PAIL, U, U, S, E.

N (boulder bars your way into the cover), EXAMINE BOULDER, UNROLL CARPET, LOOK UNDER BOULDER (see a
hole), PUT CARPET UNDER BOULDER, SAY RISE (boulder rises into the sky), N (strange cove), GET COIN
(can't), EXAMINE COIN, EXAMINE FLAG (pirate), E (gloom), GET REVOLVER, EXAMINE REVOLVER, GET
GOLD (bar), EXAMINE GOLD, W, S, E (note don't go east into the moat or you die), S (outside
castle guarded by an orc who asks what you've got), EXAMINE ORC, SHOW GOLD TO ORC, N, THROW
GOLD IN MOAT (he chases after the gold and dies in the moat), S, E (drawbridge), PUT BLOCK IN
BUCKET, FILL BUCKET WITH WATER, E (royal waiting room), GET WRAPPER AND LUNCHBOX, EXAMINE WRAPPER,
READ WRITING (ad for AGT), EXAMINE LUNCHBOX, UNLOCK LUNCHBOX (with key from under doormat - reveals
meat), DROP KEY, GET MEAT, E, S (laundry), EXAMINE LINE (a clothpin is attached), GET CLOTHPIN,
EXAMINE CLOTHPIN, EXAMINE LAUNDRY, N, E (east end of hallway - leave spraycan), E (royal gardens -
can't get the plants), W, N (top of stairs), D (dungeon), EXAMINE SKELETON, EXAMINE TORTURE

W, W, N, N (top of cove), GET VIAL (smell is too bad), PIN NOSE (with clothpin), N, GET VIAL,
EXAMINE HERMIT, S, REMOVE PIN, EXAMINE VIAL, READ LETTERING (ogre annihiliator), W, N (strange
cove), WRAP COIN IN WRAPPER, GET COIN, S, S, E, E, E, N (royal crown room), READ PLAQUE, EXAMINE
EMBLEM (glowing red), EXAMINE SCALE, PUT BOX ON SCALE, PUT PIPE ON SCALE, PUT MAT ON SCALE, PUT GUN
ON SCALE, PUT PAIL ON SCALE, PUT VASE ON SCALE, GET PLAQUE, STAND ON SCALE, WAIT (door opens and the
emblem turns green), STEP OFF SCALE, E (crown room), GET CROWN, EXAMINE CROWN (there is a hole in
the centre), W, S, W, W (front of castle),

S, S (two ogres are quarrelling), GIVE COIN (distracts them momentarily), E (cave), CLOSE GATES,
BOLT GATES WITH STAFF, EXAMINE CAGE (beast in there), CUT CASE WITH CROWN (diamond), GET RUBY (as
you reach for the ruby the gates of the cage fly open and the beast escapes), FEED BEAST (with the
meat), GET RUBY, PUT RUBY IN CROWN (the ogres awaken - good job you bolted the gates), WEAR CROWN.
